Bitstamp is doing more volume than I have seen in a long time. The value on Gox is going to be below BTC-E, which is rare too...

BS, go do more research again.
Same to you. I'm not really bothered, I have nothing in Gox, forgot how emotional everyone is around here. No facts just FUD and who can shout loudest. DON'T YOU GET IT ?? IT'S CRASHING !! BITCOIN IS THE FIRST VIRTUAL CURRENCY AND WILL FAIL !! DO YOU HEAR ME FAIL !! Fuck off and stop yelling, it's very impolite.

New FUD on the line: FBI got the Gox BTC while investigating their connection to the Silk Road.
I can confirm the source: "Dear CustomersRecently published media accounts are inferring a link between MtGox and the former online Silk Road marketplace and other illegal services and activities. MtGox denies that it has ever knowingly assisted, agreed to assist, or willingly cooperated with anyone to use Bitcoin to engage in illegal or illicit transactions."
FBI seized most of the coins/money....

Hm, from what I have been reading, I would think that MtGOX maintained that 10% premium over market price to (a) encourage people to deposit BTC there, and (b) discourage clients who had USD balance from converting it to BTC and moving these out.
Since they have now stopped all BTC withdrawals, pure and simple, those two reasons do not apply any more...

This is not the Gox observer thread. People just keep saying the same things over and over again.

We've all been Goxxed, give us time to grieve... and work through our issues (with Gox).

+1 And lets add to the fact that without BTC withdrawals, you would be better to convert to fiat. Also, I'm pretty sure Mt.Gox is letting some coins out to their VIP customers, which are dumping on the other exchanges.

The easiest explanation is that while BTC withdrawals were possible and fiat withdrawals not, people bought themselves out of gox by bying BTC. Thus, the higher price.
Perhaps... but they had a 10% premium at leat since Sep/2013 (I did not check earlier than that). Did they already have USD withdrawal problems back then?

Some whale's 941 Bid wall currently being rapidly nibbled away by dozens of 10-30 BTC sell-offs.
From 941 to 617 and counting. Not much beneath it to hold up the price when/if this wall gets devoured.
