apologies on posting out of turn, still catching up, but this second market thing started out like this exclusive club, only for "sophisticated" investors. And now some bat-shit crazy mofo like myself with a measly 25 bitcoin in my wallet can get in on the action? Whatever, I guess I'm glad to be part of the club? no as I read it you can sell or buy btc from them. you cant be part of their fund.

I just bought a small amount of BTC so that I could trade it for LTC. I think I may buy a little more BTC, but I'm kind of waiting on the price - I'm torn as to whether to buy it right now or wait a little bit for it to come lower.

Have you always been able to place Limit Orders at Coinbase? I see the link that you provided, but have never been able to find the link from the Coinbase pages to place Limit Orders.

Bah, screw Coinbase. Sure enough, they'll limit your orders as a "High Risk Transaction." Quit peddling that crap.

Can I do this with coinbase or is that too much? I'd love to not have to hold fiat on an exchange. Is that your contribution towards the notorious Bitfinex liar walls, whereby you create a massive Bid or Ask wall which shows up on live tickers, yet you only have margin/liquidity to meet a small fraction of it? Just one of the many reasons why I have decided not to trade on Bitfinex any longer.

You will be fine as long as daily purchases are under $50k USD.

How do you calculate how much funds you have left to bid in exchange mode without spreadsheeting it all?
I can't find an easy way on BFX to display your non frozen / non committed funds.
Also BFX was allowing unfunded orders to be placed for a few hours which is slightly worrisome. It is now stopping me from placing them which is a good thing.

I've been using Coinbase for almost a year and the only time I had a problem with that was when I was a new user. Someone on the forum gave me an email address to complain to them, they emailed me back and informed me that I was put onto their white list and I have never had a problem with Coinbase since. I do wish that they offered LTC - can you imagine the convenience and the boost to LTC that would be?
