A ripple project.

Im pretty sure it said secretbitcoinproject somewhere!!!

Yeah no worries.. this is Jed's new project (Jed McCaleb the guy that set up MtGox and then sold it)

He is taking on Alpha testers now...

Reckons he is returning to the market with something bigger better

"When I sold Mt. Gox a few years ago, Bitcoin was trading at less than a dollar. Today Bitcoin exists in a new environment. Mt. Gox is struggling to keep up. Now, I am building something that will be better for Bitcoin and better for you. I’m looking for alpha testers. -Jed"

600 wall holding up for now, maybe next bounce will eat it. I can watch these charts for hours when there's action like this

I wonder if the hackers plan to use the coins stolen from sr2.0 to sell into rallies, or sell after large rallies

They actually stole the coins? I thought it was complete BS after a quick glance. I guess it depends if they are bulls or bears  Cheesy

seems to be 4400 coins, the admins claiming they used the malleability issue which I don't believe at all

http://www.deepdotweb.com/2014/02/13/silk-road-2-hacked-bitcoins-stolen-unknown-amount/ this is one of the articles I've read.

edit: answers lay here Adam

No one knows exactly how many were stolen yet, just estimates so far.

"Update: The amount of BTC that was stolen was calculated by Nicholas Weaver @NCWeaver – Computer Security Researcher, to be around:  4474.266369160003BTC that are with the value of about $2.7 Million."
This seem like a good estimate I'd love to know what the calculations he used we're

Right, I'm wondering how he arrived at such a precise number ..

I really cannot understand where do those goxcoin sellers come from, with decent sells too, like 30, 50 coins and stuff. How can you be so late to sell?

It is a bot selling now for a few days... (coins from one holder)
Actually its not. Most bots are not in use. This is voluntary dumping based off fear of a unpredictable market. Why hold at 500 when you can cut your loss at 500 then buy back at 400. This is everyone's mindset currently.

Why hold at 400 when you can buy back at 200. Or 100. Or 2 dollars!
