Meanwhile in other news, gold is over 1300 again and rising like a champion.

Quote
So when the front is prepared, the rear is lacking, and when the rear is prepared the front is lacking. Preparedness on the left means lacks on the right, preparedness on the right means lack on the left. Preparedness everywhere means lack everywhere.
Sun Tzu

So if we pull down all the defences we will be prepared for anything .... hmmm .. I think there is deep wisdom in there somewhere

We're not the attackers (at least, not me but there's plenty in this thread), sound money is under attack and that's us and precious metals. Let them push it down all the way, that will fund a second wave of folks smart enough to see Bitcoin's potential to join the future wealthy elite. Its really hard to see if that's intentional or consequential but the only thing that can save fiat now is a world war (or some other really good excuse to sever global communications).

I like the way you think, though I am not concerned about being amongst the wealthy elite myself, I just hope for a less tyrannical world where the poor are not robbed to glorify the rich, and kept in perpetual slavery. Personal wealth is not high on my agenda.
It's the italicised part that really concerns me, whether it be intentional (read 'false flag') or the probable side effect of diabolical policy making intended to prop a dying system for as long as possible and leading to the next world war. I hope there is time to turn back.

Here they tell "only" 4,474 bitcoins were stolen. Not 40,000-80,000 like Forbes says.

80 000 coins ?  Close to 64 000 000$ , at the time of the hack?

I would be really surprised if there is not a major bounce on gox from the $460 level, as this was the cycle low after the last ATH. It would also take the gloom off the other markets, particularly China who seem to think gox is still a benchmark.

dead bull

can someone please ban this guy? wtf

you eat meat everyday, what are you afraid of?  Undecided

I also ask this question when people get scared by killed animals / dead animal corpses.
Unfortunately I will never understand why people can eat animals but never want to see the ugly side of eating meat.

I guess if that means no fiat you can send to an exchange. I've been debating this for a week or two. I don't really feel hurt about the price drop I feel hurt that I am not buying it.

there even seems to be divides within governments between those that get big wads of cash from the banks and those that want to get big wads of cash from the banks.

I have more fiat but its only money that my parents saved while i grew up so I don't feel confident gambling with these

edit: i am considering wiring a bit of it though(probably not), its a little tempting  Cool
