Don’t you just love it when people sell way too early & potentially ruin their lives yet they just can’t stay away from this thread & predicting imminent, ridiculously low prices.

 Cool

have seen this so many times. it is weird. same with scamcoin fanboiz, they keep coming back here. or the worst: btrash/bsv shills. (which of course are also scamcoins). I wonder if any psychologist will come up with a name for this behavior like "stockholm syndrome"

"I ruined myself financially but i surely kicked some butt on the interwebs"

those guys have no pride.

Yeah, I’ve seen it loads over the years. If I sold my entire stash way too low I’d just not bother coming on here again. I’d probably try & start from the beginning a get a couple of whole bitcoin’s before it becomes totally unaffordable to normal people.

What I 100% wouldn’t do is start coming on here, trolling people who have a lot of money Cheesy

What jonoiv is doing is like a homeless person laughing at somebody for losing their house keys.

This looks like a weaker version of the failed pump attempt on July 3rd that couldnt stay over 12k.

The difference is the volume. It was 4x bigger on 3rd July. So it is 4x easier for the bulls to sustain that price now. This year bulls perfected their technique. They wait for the price to stabilize and the volume to drop and then pull the trigger. We will see how high we can go sneaking past the bears without attracting too much volume. The truth is that CB and Bistamp can't handle big volumes as we saw near 13800. The trading bots frenzy fried CB servers on multiple occasions so far. Anyway, I can't understand the n00bs that wait for some appocalyptic drop to enter.  Just buy and wait long enough. But what usually happens is that in such crashes those n00bs get greedy and wait for another crash that never happened. And when they see 2x profit, they can't resist to cash out. Why is so hard to buy at the current price whatever it might be, and set a target at least 5x? I decided for myself 10x target, but I may change it to 20x if I am not in the need for something.

Personally during the rise in 2017 up to the ATH, I started to feel rich. And it was more than 20x the price I had paid/invested (mining). I sold just enough to recoup my investments, and thought after that I could live through dumps without worry.

I was wrong. The crash, then the winter, depressed me.

So now, I'm selling some, I want to have something else than BTC when it crashes again. A car, probably.

I'd like to have a safe filled with precious metal ingots. Gold would be best of course, but I'd like silver too. Not as money, just for pleasure.

I already have several hundreds of a coin, nothing precious, it's a 50 centimes (half a French Franc) coin, but it's just the right size and weight, when I was a kid I wanted to have a pool full of it to swim in like Scrooge McDuck.

It was recently reported that Justin Sun has been linked to a $30M Ponzi scheme in China. The scam, called the “Wave Field Super Community,” was an investment fund mysteriously shut down on June 30. Everyone who participated lost their capital. One single mother even committed suicide as a result of the scam. It is unclear currently whether the ongoing police raid is related to the accusations of Justin Sun’s involvement in a Ponzi scheme.

If this is real then it is not good for cryptospace. People will have negative impression about the entire crypto industry.

Roll Eyes In other things that are good news for Bitcoin:
https://edition.cnn.com/2019/07/07/europe/pamplona-running-of-the-bulls-2019/
At least 3 people gored as running of the bulls begins in Pamplona
Quote
The first bullrun of the 2019 San Fermin festival in Pamplona, Spain, kicked off Sunday.
The hospital said two of the goring victims were Americans. One was identified as a 23-year-old man from Kentucky and the other as a 46-year-old man from San Francisco. The third victim was identified as a 40-year-old man from La Rioja in northern Spain.

Therefore and thus, donc and ergo, new ATH this month.
