With $13,000 as the new psychological barrier to the bull run, anything below it now is bear territory, and bulls will need to stay on their toes. However, if a deeper correction follows here, it could be considered extremely healthy for the first ever crypto asset. What is it with you n00bs and your obsession with corrections. Every time bitcoin goes down a dollar you all start screaming about "healthy corrections". Just shut the fuck up and enjoy the ride.

Later wo bros... Gonna go fly my drone now and spy on the neighbors. ....2nd thought, I'd better not. Drinking and drone flying not a good combo....
auto return/landing on low battery/signal loss for the win. lands right next to your passed out body. and spying on neighbors? for shame. of course all my neighbors have given me permission to fly over their property as need on the drones way to its main mission when needed. and of course telling the neighbors the drone is at their disposal for their own property inspection helps too. done some property perimeter runs and roof inspections here and there for them. programmed mine to do autonomous runs around my property via gps, good way to monitor seasonal (or man/animal made) changes. mainly i use it to monitor the beavers who have set up a dam thats flooded several back acres on mine and my neighbors properties. industrious little buggers , beavers. done a lot of flooding via their dams. natures engineers at work. JTBC... I don't spy on the neighbors. In sober hindsight, probably should have followed that post with a "j/k!" (Memo to myself...don't drink and post (or fly a drone, ftm.) My bad.) Besides the annoying dog barking, we (myself and neighbors) actually get on really well. He likes my drone too. He helps me out with yard work and I tip him bitcoin (my tips to him have since tripled in value too) Interesting to hear about the beavers on your property as I have a stream running through my property also and like 3 years ago it turned into a small lake due to beaver damming. It's since drained back to a stream and the beavers moved out. I suspected human intervention but as my property is no longer flooded, I didn't complain or ask questions. Huge fine for breaching a beaver dam around here so I didnt touch it.

Sold 90%, I hope it's the correct choice. I can't see it hitting over 12500 again in July at the very least. The traders on trading view mainly suggesting drops to mid 10's 9's or 8's this month before a temporary pullback. Could be a bad week from here on in.

That's' part of the story on why bitcoin is performing versus shitcoin. The money is flooding into crypto, main gateways into crypto is of course bitcoins, but contrary to what happened in last retail-led rallies, money is staying into bitcoin. Bitcoin is the only market where the liquidity (i am referring to bid/offer, market depth and reduced slippage) is guaranteed for this kind of investors. I can't see any reason why a fund manager would keep any shitcoin where value proposition is basically non-existent and liquidity is scarce.
I agree, most of the alts are indeed having their lunch eaten by the BTCiggest fish. There are scenarios which might plausibly be positive for alts: • Some alts could be included in 'baskets' of crypto once ETFs do finally appear. Top 20 Mcap ones, maybe? Everything else will be in the penny stocks section. Those out of the cut may not all end up dead, but the majority will be close to it. • The only other possible hope is retail FOMO with new punters of the 'I can't afford a whole bitcoin' ilk buying up potential 'next bitcoin' things and shiny alts. A rising tide raises all ships after all. Many alts can still boast healthy (recent) gains in USD terms. I see the chances of an ETF with alts slimming considerably with the bloodbath we are seeing. Consider also that consequences of alts down performing BTC are bad because: - Alts downperforming reduces liquidity from markets, getting difficult to have reliable prices, and depth, that are fundamental for an ETF
- Akts downperforming means reduced hashing power, thus lower security on the alts, again, this is bad for institutional investors
Regarding the FOMO, this can always happen, but the case of getting long because of this is getting more and more ridiculous. I don't disagree, and I did cull most alts this spring - but I still was 55/45 BTC / Alts then... Now, due to altpocalypse? coinmaggeddon? fuck it - bloodbath... it's more like 65/35. I have traded to try and maintain value, but it's a bit late, with glorious hindsight. Emotional loyalty to one alt in particular - which was incredibly good to me, makes it tough to dump the lot. I thought it had bottomed. Now I am not so sure...

The traders on trading view don't have a clue, they don't know what they are doing or what they are talking about. They are a bunch of wankers.

One moment you're cruising comfortably over $13K, ...
Shit be crazy, yo.
Bring on the volatility. Nom nom.
The halving hype will at least take until.. the halving. So that means 300+ days of a wild roller coaster ahead of us. These dumps are there to try and tame Bitcoin as long as possible, but with all the hype the fomo blowout again seems almost inevitable. Or this time is different?

You sold the dip? Noobs. Sigh. my average sell price was 13057. I was expecting a sell off, the alt coins were dumping and i figured this was keeping bitcoin price artificailly high as they are mostly paired to bitcoin. Decided to sell most of my stash. Could be a wrong choice but, I will look at it again next week just think this needs time to cool off a little.

Some are already turning off the lights, and I guess that is really a good thing (not if you lost money) Needs a flush out. Where will be a safe haven? may drive more than 1 coin up a bit too.
Ha, you will have guessed where my thoughts are, Globb0. But nothing is 'safe' in alts right now, so BTC dominance only looks like increasing, it's a feedback loop. Yes, I think the clean out is due, and yes, Bitcoin IS king of this castle - but I'm in the 'It's an ecosystem' camp. A healthy market protects King Bitcoin from always being one-on-one against those that want to create a myriad of centralised state-controlled shit to try to wall it off or take it on. Viable contenders with a valid use case alongside Bitcoin, means crypto is a hydra, a many-headed monster that cannot die.

OMG I go for a nice soak in the bathtub and get out to see we had an $1100 correction/retrace. We're still over $12k though so I'm still calling a new AYH by the end of July. industrious little buggers , beavers. done a lot of flooding via their dams. natures engineers at work.
Aren't beaver dams the reason Alfred Nobel invented dynamite? Half a stick does wonders. possibly. i must admit initially i wasnt too pleased losing several back acres to swamp/pond. but nature will take its course, even if one tries to disrupts it. and when all is said and done, all the dead trees etc in the swamp will fall, decompose, and give life to new fertile soil for new growth when the beaver dams are gone. and it very cool monitoring them. i can fly to and hover around 10-15 feet from the dams and lodges, plus areal views. kinda my new hobby, checking the beavers and their engineering projects out. the drone doesnt seen to bother them at all.

The problem with selling 90% of your Bitcoin stash is that now you have to check the price twice a day or even every hour because the bull run is just beginning and maybe you wake up and the price is a lot higher than the price you sold.
I experienced this with some altcoins. I sold at 10x thinking I'm so smart but then it went up more to never come down again. It went up 40x more. Even with the long bear market, the price is still 3x higher than I sold.
