Good morning Bitcoinland.

I see the battle for $10k continues... currently $10004USD/$13132CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

As I said before, this could take some time.

Don't worry though. By November these summer doldrums will be long forgotten.

Go Bitcoin go.

Just wondering if anyone did notice the HUGE golden cross of today (50d, 200d MA, 3d chart):
https://i.ibb.co/n0JVsXv/heyyhua.png
1.Death cross, followed by immediate capitulation.
2.Golden cross, you know what to do now.

I thought 50/200 DMA cross happened in May 14th... What am I missing?

Edit: aah 3d = 3day, yay. got it.
DMA and SMA may have different results. I always look SMA indicators.

Thanks, this chart is a good one. So, what seems to be sure is that after a golden cross with these parameters, price never goes below the 50d MA line until the end of the bull market.

Observing $9,803, we’re witnessing a slow climb towards $10,000 again. What’s the likelihood we get over $10,000 before the weekend & then some ass hole whale flushes us all the way down to $9,4xx in one 20 minute red candle?

Whales toy with us in periods of low volume & low volatility.
If bitcoin goes down, it will fall around more than 20%, so the price I have waited for will be around $8,000.
Bitcoin might fall around 26 percent to 30 percent, from the range $11,000, where bitcoin broke out. It means in my forecast, bitcoin will fall to the range between $7700 and $8000. It is deep enough to kill Long gangs, and it is also relevant to news on Tether USD. News is used to pump and dump coins, so, why not believe in my forecast?
A little bit update on transaction fees:
Temporarily, Bitcoin transaction fees rose to 34 sat/byte. Fees for transaction with 1 input (148 bytes), 3 outputs (102 bytes) costs only 8840 satoshis, which is much higher than just early hours today.
It is not a good time to consolidate your bitcoin leftovers, please wait.

[edited out]
As to your last dig at me, nobody was ever dumb enough to attempt to physically bully me in high school  Cool but feel free to size me up at the 100k party and estimate your odds of success in a high school locker room hand to hand combat situation.

Oh Gawd.. lambie.. might have to batman slap you, just to potentially help you to get a grip..... otherwise you are going to start sounding like jonoiv or roach or one of the other ones talking bear scenario nonsensicals.

Your statement also implies you may have some secret hatred or ill will for me and this is understandable due to our past arguments where I may have been overly harsh with you on a personal level.

I don't bear any hatred or lovered.

These are the interwebs.  Get a grip.    Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

My apologies, I should attempt to be friendlier to bulls especially and people in general during arguments/debates etc.

Do what you like.  Be yourself.  There's no need to apologize or to adjust your behavior beyond attempting to interact in an information sharing way..   If you are bearish, then you are bearish.  If you are bullish, then so be it.

Since we are making jokes and digs.... I get the feeling that instead of trying anything physical, your "wrath" might have involved dropping a very long anonymous letter in my locker if you were upset bc of something "extreme" I said.  Wink

Maybe dropping a dick pic?  hahahaha

I will buy more if we get under 8k and I dont see how the correction is over now, but time will tell.

Sounds like a pretty decently-sized IF, but I certainly don't proclaim to be any kind of clairvoyant.

While I remain short term bearish(next month or two), we are of course still in a bull market with new ATH's awaiting us after the halving imo, so a countdown is long overdue....

228 days into the new BTCull Market and all is well Cheesy

Seems like a largely agreeable assessment.

What is more likely is that several computers or servers were used to mine the first million coins. Since there were no pools, each mined coin comes from a wallet on different computers.

Multiple computers can all use the same wallet. But the nonces on the blocks indicate that they came from a single "system" that was very fast, probably some sort of pool-like configuration.

Or the difficulty was low

No. The nonces in each won block indicate that the vast majority of mining power in the first days was definitely coordinated.

Incidentally, it is working splendidly so far.

Yeah jbreher, splendidly is far from a couple of recent reorg occasions.

With no known negative consequences.

eta: Other than the loss of the coinbase tx revenues for the initial orphaned miners.

Right, why would it have any negative consequences since nobody uses it, dah?

Way to completely miss the point. Again.

All the txs (again, save for the coinbase tx of each orphaned block) were ultimately included onchain.

Nevermind the obvious blatant lie that "nobody uses it". Is this what substitutes for honest discourse in your pathological mind?

Somewhat off topic, but the ends justify the means on this one.  Cool

As you know Equifax had a massive data breach a while back and 145 million or more customers had their credit files stolen.

They are paying out 700 million dollars in a legal settlement to victims who come forward. As we know most people will never bother to even check if they were a victim.

https://www.cnbc.com/2019/07/22/what-you-need-to-know-equifax-data-breach-700-million-settlement.html

Turns out Slayer was a victim  Cry and will be receiving a small bit of filthy fiat to buy more Bitcoin with.  Cool

I suspect most of you that hail from the US are also eligible for a cash payout, you can instantly check here if you will be able to receive some filthy fiat from the dirty credit boy'z pockets.

https://eligibility.equifaxbreachsettlement.com/eligibility

If this site says you are eligible, then you proceed to the prompted link and can instantly claim 125 dollars to be sent to you in 90 days, no questions asked.

If you want to get another 250 dollars you also merely describe how you spent 10 hours of your time investigating the data breach or taking actions to remedy any misdoings. Its at a rate of 25 per hour up to 10 hours no documentation required. If you provide docs you can claim another 10 hours, but the gist is you can have a check in the mail of 375 filthy usd shitcoins on the way with a basic description in the form of some efforts you made researching your credit data in the last few years.

Id recommend watching and describing you watched these 10+ hours of videos to inform yourself of Equifax's evil ways. Of course it would be immoral to not watch the videos completely so dont take shortcuts, you are only cheating yourself  Smiley

https://www.c-span.org/video/?458597-1/equifax-marriott-international-executives-testify-data-breaches

https://energycommerce.house.gov/committee-activity/hearings/hearing-on-oversight-of-the-equifax-data-breach-answers-for-consumers

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RrMsxXYjef0

https://www.pbs.org/newshour/nation/watch-live-former-equifax-ceo-testifies-fourth-hearing-data-breach

TLDR:

So if you live in the US chances are you are eligible as most US credit users were affected. For a few seconds of work you can get the 125 bucks just for pain and suffering, and if you go the extra mile you can get up to 500 more. The first 250 of which is pretty easy.

When you receive your USD shitcoins dont forget to trade them for Bitcoin.

@mindrust, ty for merits above!

Thanks for the link to the Equifax claim!

The SEC will start to mine some btc soon...   Grin

The SEC Set To Begin Running Bitcoin and Ethereum Nodes

The US Securities and Exchange Commission is looking for quotes from contractors who will run the Ethereum and Bitcoin nodes for them.

What is the motivation behind the move?

Moving forward, the contractors will have to make additions of new blockchains as the SEC requires. The SEC has, however, not given any valid reason as to why it wants to operate its own nodes. The only explanation the agency has provided is stating that the objective is to support monitoring risk, compliance enhancement as well as to inform SEC policymaking on digital assets.

The SEC will ramp up its analytics to aid its blockchain complaisance investigations and monitoring. In essence, they have stated that the subscription will collect blockchain data from the various hosted nodes instead of offering the data through blockchain explorers.
