The approximate scale of the largest known supermassive black hole (S5 0014+81) compared to the size of our solar system.

an awesome beast indeed ... I did a little reading on this and it seems like 280 light-years from this monster and you would receive the same amount of radiant energy than the earth receives from the sun ... so a 280 light-year radius habitable zone??

You would still recieve radiant energy, the image below shows how it looks like if it's located just 280 light years away, it would shine as brightly as our sun does in the sky. So yes, but very unhealthy if you're exposed to it.

The S5 0014+81 is about 10,000 times more massive than the black hole at the center of our galaxy, or equivalent to 40 billion solar masses.

The Schwarzschild radius (event horizon) of this black hole is 118.35 billion kilometers, giving a diameter of 236.7 billion kilometers, 1,600 astronomical units, or about 40 times the radius of Pluto's orbit, and has a mass equivalent to four Large Magellanic Clouds.

Bitcoin explosion is in the air.

The volumes at Bakkt are broken almost daily. If we assume that the volume on a coin market cap is 90% fake and Bakkt represents true volumes, then Bakkt is now more than 1 percent of the total volume on market cap. Here Bakkt comes to the point that they need so many bitcoins that there will be a shortage on the market. It is only a quarter to two in the afternoon and the trade in America has yet to start and Bakkt is already at 10 million volume. Today or tomorrow, Bakkt will cover the 25 million bitcoins. That is equal to 1 / 8000th part. Enough to make the market explode. I expect the bitcoin to be at $ 25,000 within a month. Then another 50,000.
Now maybe. the moment to buy in

A friend just send me this true what’s app from one or other Belgian link, I don’t know (can’t provide) the true source, but what you thinking about this??

#hopium.....

Don't know if the volume of coinmarketcap is real or not, but Bakkt impact is yet to be take effect. No one realizes how quickly the bakkt will make bitcoin demand too high and it will be difficult to catch the bitcoins.
It seems a joke now but bitcoin will explode in a blink of an eye like a rocket , however the exact time is still not known, but is very near.

Nice to see this pump has scared all bear trolls away  Cool  Five digits by Monday next week?
The trend is still clearly bearish, bro.

It's a bounce back. I think there will be another low soon around 6.5k and another bounce back towards 9k (nice one) for beginning of next year. But the trend clearly showing an ABC correction (zigzag) towards the 4k-ish direction, it would be silly to buy now, I'd rather wait until next year.

Of course there is always a possibility to break above 12k (that would mean 20k after that) but the probability of this scenario is very low right now.

Long term holders have nothing to worry about but that means very long term (2025 and after that), but for 2020 no reason to be optimistic. I will personally sell at 9k and wait for another buy point which would be around 4k next year.

PS: there is nothing "trolling" about calling bear trends. It is crystal clear the trend is bearish right now and will last for at least 6 months.

Mmmkey... so 4k after the halving? R u crazy?  Shocked  Half of daily BTC supply will just disappear from market and the price will magically go to $4k?

There are only two possibilities:

1. You're a retarded bear troll vegetable with an IQ of 0
2. You're a bear shill hoping for more weak hands to sell now before BTC goes parabolic again  Cool
Hello serveria. Time will tell but I am confident about this.

I see serveria.com sells VPS is it still legit? I could need one soon. Should I contact you directly?

One of these rare times I type on my phone can't believe this forum has no mobile version, the irony. It absolutely sucks that such a forum still has not upgraded. I suspect it's because of the signatures that would not display nicely on a phone.  Kiss

Yes, I am Hodler, to be honest, I think the survey should have one more option:

Hodler + BTCullish

I am almost certain that many authentic WOs would vote for this option. Wink

Merited because of an interesting opinion, but i don't really fully buy the thesis that cycles are bound to increase in length since they are being driven (apparently) by halvings. In addition, if ROI are decreasing, but drawdowns stay the same (around 85%), then I just don't see whay it would continue in this pattern. I would reluctantly agree IF drawdowns were smaller, but so far they are not (to a significant degree).

It's like saying that since this summer was unusually long because of balmy weather it would mean that the next one would be longer still.

I didn't like this chart.

This says I gotta wait nearly 3 years for next big boom. 3 years to get 10x profits (from 10k to 100k) is actually not bad but I don't know. It is kinda too late I feel. I don't have enough patience left to get rich and that's why this chart has big chances become real. It is because it is actually painful. Somewhere around mid 2020 or mid 2021, (or from, till) after seeing btc going nowhere, people will say fuck this shit and dump their coins. Then we will go to the next moon. This is how the whales work. They'll only make you rich if you endure the pain long enough.

This bear market, it wasn't long enough.

I prefer masterluc's or filbfilb's charts over this piece of shit any day but life is a bitch.

Well, it is good to see all the other 'delusional' hodl'ers along with myself. At least according to my relatives this thanksgiving who think I'm quite mad for now blowing all my BTC.

At least they are consistent....they have mentioned I should sell every Thanksgiving since 2013 and how foolish I am. Oh well, so it goes.

But anyway, if they read this thread they would now say this is where all them kool-aid drinking hodl'ers hang out it seems. At least from the poll Smiley

Crap, have to do this again next year in 2020, hopefully I can drop the price, in the conversation at a new ATH to reverse the trend at that point...

the higher the price the more foolish I am for not getting USD it seems

...no way out. BTC price goes up foolish not to sell, BTC price goes down foolish not to sell, BTC goes sideways foolish not to sell because at some time it is all gonna go full

beanie baby! Sigh, you can't change your gene pool which is very, very concerning to me Sad

If bitcoin reaches gold marketcap 6.6T, the price of btc will be 330K$. We all know US has got 334B $ gold reserve, but doesn’t have any bitcoin yet, maybe have 1000+ coins.

I guess bitcoin may rocket to 100K+-$ in 2021, and this cycle will be the last bull cycle, but will fall down to 20K later. After 4-8 years bitcoin will stay at 100K$ level, then move up little by little to its destiny.

2069 AD, Bitcoin will step slowly up to 1M $, if it finally defeat US dollar and become the first reserve money in the world.

I like to see and publish interesting graphics, Bitcoin is very young and we are few who believe in BTC, in comparison with the world population, for the world BTC is an experiment that was not taken seriously, leaders, politicians, the shit of the banks, nobody believed in Bitcoin , but now they have no choice but to accept that the experiment has become a reality and they don't know what will happen in the future.

How many new currencies have been created in recent history? 0

I know this is old news to some of you but you can get your own customizeable BCTalk card here (don't remember seeing the link last time I saw a card here). Guy is working on a game to boost the egos of long-time, over-committed btalkers, because that's what we need: more ego-boosting.

And just for fun...

What the hell is a bitcoin talk ID?

Yours is 159292. It doesn't show up when you click on Profile... Probably the fastest way to get it is from BPIP. Search for your user name, click on it, then click the VISIT PROFILE button. Then it pulls up your profile by user ID. Mine for example is:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=317618

But when you click on your Bitcointalk PROFILE you just get the default:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile

Satoshi is 3, pretty easy to remember.
