The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

I read that random nobody's article above before and forget what his logic was, but I think he assumed only 7-10% of all silver mined had been lost to industrial use, when that's probably the most outrageous lowball estimate you could possibly make.  Other people claim 90% has been lost.  Whatever the real number is, it's pretty obvious vastly higher amounts of silver has been used or lost than gold, and silver is only coming out of the ground at a 8.x ratio to gold.

Nobody actually knows the exact amount because silver doesn't have a new world order, govt tracking and enslavement system called 'blockchain' attached to it, but if silver was actually abundant, it wouldn't require more naked shorts to contain the price than every other commodity on the entire planet.  It's shorts would look more like copper in the below chart instead which actually is abundant.  They'd be able to ignore the market and let this supposed 'overstock' naturally prevent it from going anywhere like copper, but instead, they spend more time and money attempting to suppress silver than any other commodity that exists.

The overvalued art scam is how fucktard Jews launder money.  And people writing books that absolutely nobody reads like Hillary Clinton or Mike Cernovich is how Jews pay bribes to shabos goyim slaves to be their servants.  They simply pay for all the books printed and now the shabos goy has been paid/bribed with millions and is a New York Times best seller even though zero real people read or bought the book.

Looking for the beginning of the hats, written directly, highlighting, the most interesting, just trying to tell this beautiful story:

When reviewing the pages of 2018, the first publication that refers to a hat is a Last of the V8s publication, it seems that it was the trigger of the WO hats at the HairyMaclairy appointment.

Last of the V8s 15 October 2018, 08:14:02:, Question: Have you ever eaten a hat? and HairyMaclairy October 15, 2018, 08:14:50 replie: Well that depends.  What sort of hat?
V8 cannot keep his mouth shut and responds Wink October 15, 2018, 08:17:01: your own. full of doomy predictions and other rubbish

Elwar October 15, 2018, 08:20:59 also puts his grain of sand: Free hat!

Rosewater Foundation el 15 October 2018, 10:57:22: There ain't no such thing as a free hat. This will end doomily. Wait for it.

A few posts run quietly until HairyMaclairy October 15, 2018, 1:17 p.m.: on a quote to Jonoiv he says: Give this man a new hat.

-----Here comes micgoossens in action, passionate about hats, responding to HairyMaclairy 15 October 2018, 13:31:16: wich one, i got a few hat's.

HairyMaclairy 15 October 2018, 13:53:39: Where did you get the hats Mic?

micgoossens 15 October 2018, 13:59:44: Bought them in Mallorca and barca.... BUT ONLINE

https://store.goorin.com/mens-hats/featured/top-sellers

Goorin brothers hats .....

jonoiv 15 October 2018, 15:06:18: ill take the red hat for now thanks, that's the hat not the candle colour.

-----So far they only comment on the hats

Now xhomerx10 October 15, 2018 surprises us all with its first design (credit for kurious, "HairyMaclairy is the Genesis Hat":

On October 16, 2018, xhomerx10 designed his second hat, this one would be for the Rosewater Foundation

xhomerx10 16 October 2018, 05:16:25 third hat design for JJG

JayJuanGee 16 October 2018, 06:02:07: Almost makes me feel like changing my avatar...

Rosewater Foundation 16 October 2018, 11:30:23: No idea what you're on about. I just come here for the hats.

Last of the V8s 16 October 2018, 11:48:39: confirmed

Rosewater Foundation 16 October 2018, 12:19:34: We have before us many, many long months of struggle and of hats. You ask, what is our policy?

HairyMaclairy 16 October 2018, 12:55:23: First the Pants Scandal.  Then the Hats Crisis.  Its too much.

-----Now the hat party is unleashed, micgoossens October 16, 2018, 13:05:44:

^
The hats are F***ing beautyfull

Nice work xhomerx ...... very Nice

xhomerx10 has to work 24/7 making hats

kingcolex 16 October 2018, 13:09:56: It's like team fortress 2 up in here, everyone getting excited over hats and whatnot.

Kylapoiss 16 october 2018, 13:57:59:

xhomerx10 16 October 2018, 17:21:07: You get a hat.  You get a hat.  You get a hat... everybody gets a hat!
I feel like Oprah (actually... nevermind)

-----The first time of the big question!!!

kurious 16 October 2018, 17:43:18, "The question": Hey Rosewater - what's a guy got to do to get one of those truly wonderful hats?

Don't tell me I need to hand my pants over...

Last of the V8s 16 October 2018, 18:07:55: xhomerx10 does the hats tho
rosie does the mood lighting

-----The hats keep appearing as soon as xhomerx10 finishes them, here are some great phrases:

bitcoinPsycho 16 de octubre de 2018, 19:11:52: Yeah me to lol . I just need one of them WO hats to make it so

JayJuanGee 16 October 2018, 21:21:40:

O.k.   It's contagious.  I had not changed my avatar since I was first able to add one - but I've been inspired by group think.

If you can't fight them, join them.   Tongue Tongue  You fucks, including but not limited to xhomerx10, who escalated this hat theme to the next level!

Icygreen 16 October 2018, 22:22:07: Oh ya baby, Bullrun hat, I see green  Wink  Everywhere! Green!!!
It won't end up like the pants, promise.

goldkingcoiner 17 October 2018, 00:07:10: I wish I had an avatar. I want to be part of the hat thing, not that I understand what it is. Someone said they would eat a hat now everyone has hats.

-----These days xhomerx10 had a lot of work, I omit some posts, because everyone already asked for his hat

jonoiv 17 October 2018, 15:28:27: Do you need to pay for a hat?

jojo69 17 October 2018, 17:06:03: we need some sort of hatchain to guarantee the authenticity of WOT avatars

surely it won't be long before cheap non-xhomerx knockoffs start showing up

jojo69 17 October 2018, 19:40:32 (as always bright):

now we should go raid some other threads with our hats on

bitserve 17 October 2018, 20:01:13: Wow! Those hats are totally awesome! *THAT* is something I would be proud to finally wear as an avatar

-----The first Hats Gallery:

sirazimuth 17 October 2018, 22:03:59: its getting mighty clique-ish in here (not that it always wasn't, but whatever)

Rosewater Foundation 17 October 2018, 23:14:33: Too many of us still lack the appropriate headwear to kick off a solid bull run. The gods of financial mischief will eventually require our overclothes. This isn't news.

October 17, 2018, 23:34:34 micgoossens also updated the Hats Gallery

mindrust 18 October 2018, 11:03:17: Where is my hat?
HairyMaclairy 18 October 2018, 11:30:16: No manners no hat

kurious 18 October 2018, 13:50:19: Hairy called it the hatchain.  Seems appropriate.

If so, I guess that makes his the Genesis hat.

-----This is all

xhomerx10 is the only designer of hats in WO and micgoossens since the first day they have always been promoting them, sometimes they have appeared imitations of xhomerx10 hat, but they have always been rejected by the members of WO, only the original xhomerx10 hats are authentic, just like Bitcoin, there is only one the rest are false imitations.

When I arrived at WO, I also liked the hats, micgoossens always encourages the users who participate in the correct way in the WO thread to get a nice hat, he is the ambassador of the hats.

This is the story of the beginning of the hats that I will publish on www.wohats.com

Here is the link where the history of the hats begins: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178336.msg46903843#msg46903843

Thx:

Last of the V8s, HairyMaclairy, xhomerx10, micgoossens, to all for convert a debate in which the word hat was pronounced and transformed, I would dare to say in the Wall Observer symbol.

Woe is all, no one has answered correctly why the crypt will grow (the only question is - which): any invention entails a need for it, so it is evil. The creation of clothes led to the disappearance of their own fur, now without clothes is not only ugly, but also cold, and it must be washed and bought

When I held them they were worth less than $100 each.  Which was still a lot of money for me to come up with if I lost them.  No, there are no rich friends in my Rolodex; those Bitcoin were sold many moons ago for much, much less than the moon for... reasons.

<...>

This is gold.
I though genuinely that the hat mania had to do with the “corn” nickname so common in the thread.
Being those hat very like the one used by the corn farmer in the Midwest I thought that those were the one most interested in nurturing the different, digital “corn”.

But I was wrong apparently.

But hey!

Thanks so far for your suggestions and opinions on the secure, inheritable seed storage topic.
It's a hell of effort for me to quote everybody's contribution i'm referring to here, so i round it up in this unilateral post, to avoid to totally mess it up.

I now consider storing one half of every seed in a place where i must have at least personal contact to a human to access the seedwords.
That means safe (yuck) or notary. Maybe both, half seedwords in the safe, passphrase at the notary for post mortem inheritance reasons or something like that.

JJG: I didn't tell the bank's employee anything about crypto, and i would i never do so. I just mentioned folded, single paper sheets and little items. I guess i will keep the ledger(s) at home for everyday use and to follow the two-level anti-thug advice of sacrificing a few % of my crypto (by mindrust, if i'm correct), which was also brilliant.

Somebody was curious about the country, it's Austria (the one without the kangaroos).

The finger is doing nice, at least no signs of infection and i can use it for typing again. This should end well, and i regard that as a warning by the universe, to follow safety standards with cutting tools. Even worse, i have a pair of kevlar gloves lying around. I should have used them. Once i rammed the base of my thumb into a sharp sheet metal edge, which got it cut half off, with a lot more blood, hospital, stitches and temporary nerve damage involved. Doctors did beautyful work, ten years later the scar is very light and thin.

Thanks for the love, practical tips and support so far #nohomo

I'm in read-only mode for the rest of the day or two, need to make a few wood/metal rings (jewellery) soon, which still needs quite some research and experimentation, and also craft another two of those bitcointalk anniversary ebony poker chips, using a different process.

I never imagined that this thread would have its very own Master Chronicler!  That's amazing VB1001.

It is a shame not to have more knowledge of the language, this story has a lot of play to make a fun and enjoyable article.
I just try to collect lost information in the thread's funds and rescue it in some way so that it is always available.
Anyway we are talking about the thread with more volume of posts in the forum.

This is gold.
I though genuinely that the hat mania had to do with the “corn” nickname so common in the thread.
Being those hat very like the one used by the corn farmer in the Midwest I thought that those were the one most interested in nurturing the different, digital “corn”.

But I was wrong apparently.

But hey!
I take the pride in inventing the official “WO hand sign”!

I've always been interested in hats because of the direct link with WO = BTC = HAT
I knew more or less the origin and knew the date of the first hat of xhomer10 / Hairy, but had not looked for the how and why of the hat.

@VB1001 very very nice to write the start of the HAT story, though its micgoossens Tongue Aaaand damn ?? Is it that "jonoiv" that later on was spamming the WO? Hope i'm wrong cause he was involved in the story Roll Eyes

Sorry for the typographical errors that may exist, I have to check the entire post again and include or edit some things, such as writing the full username, now some hats are colloquially named and this could cause some misinterpretation, for novices or sporadic visitors of the thread who want to know about the origin of the hats.
