They also like clothes or new shoes perhaps. Is she a boots kind of woman? Nice, fluffy winter boots.

Now I have a question for you:

In Belgium, do you guys have Belgian Waffles, or do you just call them "waffles"?

We have Brusselse wafels, Luikse wafels and in Holland they have stroopwafels

I have never been to Belgium but if I was there, I would call them Eggo(s) and if somebody were to try to take my plate of them I'd say "Hey! Leggo my Eggos!

Ah, I thought you were micg, because of the whole same hat thing. Thought it was a bit weird that you denominated your gift maximum in dollars instead of some funny money. I hope you weren't offended. My sincerest apologies.

I'm a brainwashed North American.

Well that certainly explains your interest in the NFL!

I met a Canadian who was an NFL fan the other day. It turns out he was converted by some American expats and then hooked by means of joining a fantasy league.

Homer, you're more than welcome to drop by my Essential NFL Thread if you'd like. There's only a few weeks of the season left, but if you'd like to share your thoughts, we'd like to hear them. Cast a vote in the Eagles/Cowboys game poll, we're currently deadlocked.

It's flattering that I could be mistaken for Mr. MicG no matter the circumstance.
At the risk of totally blowing my already less than perfect Opsec - I'm a Steelers fan because one of my parents is from Steel City and if I don't follow them, we have little to discuss when I visit. Smiley

Seriously I used to bet occasionally on Football and Hockey but I always went for really long odds (multiple games simultaneously). I only won once and that was when Mogilny (Buffalo Sabres) came back from a back injury unexpectedly.  It was paying 5:1 but I had to pick 2 other games so I wrote a program to mix a few "sure things" with that game.  I played 8 or 9 tickets for 2 bucks each and only one came through for me - the payout was slightly more than $47.  The one and only time I ever won.  I will check out your site!

According to NewsBTC:

Quote
on an earlier date, all gold in circulation is currently valued at approximately $7.83 trillion, while all Bitcoin has a mere $180 billion valuation. Should the latter fully displace the value of the first, industry analytics firm Crypto Voices estimates that BTC would swell to a value of $450,000.

 Very good ideas.  Thank you.
Don't tell her I said so but she could use the cooking classes.

My relevant person cannot boil an egg.
We took kitchen classes.
Now I can cook a world class risotto and I can fillet a fish.

She still cannot boil an egg.

If i remember some detaily you mentioned me long ago, she could take this an offense, but smuggle it as something to do togheter, they love thi kind of things.

Weird.

In Germany they have Luftwaffles. They also have luftballoons; those are much more fun.

The NFL is what real men watch when they are taking a hard-earned break from dominating the earth.

Americans confuse European things often. e.g. Brussel sprouts originate in the Mediterranean not Brussels. Americans thinking that Deutsch (German) is the same as Dutch because the words are similar (in fact the origin of the word Dutch comes from some confused people calling it Deutsch). Etcetera.

Guys, I need your coming up with a Christmas gift idea for my wife (that she didn't already instruct me to buy for her) and it can't be a hat!  Money is no object as long as it's under $100 - I need the cash for stackingsatsTM... okay I might be able to go as high as $110

Give her a DUO-massage, then you spend time together, and both have equal fun..... And that will fit the price range....

Maybe afterwards to have dinner or a movie or something.

Thanks for the ideas!  I already booked a hotel for our march break (it coincides with our anniversary) where we'll get a massage so...
Dinner and a movie would thrill her.  We haven't been to a movie for over three years!  Shift work Sad   I honestly don't even remember what movie it was but I remember we walked out early on it.

Just don't lead off the conversation with "So, how's Rothlesburger doing?" Or Antonio Brown, for that matter. They are still in the hunt for a playoff spot, so that's good at least.

And its not a site so much as a thread, but I am proud of it. Its my own WO thread, but you know, for football. Much like this one I'm the only person who talks off-topic more often than not.

I grew up catching and filleting fish - freshwater fish.  It used to be quite easy to catch them but now you need a license and everybody and their mother is out on the lakes... it's not so fun.
Maybe I should take her ice fishing!

edit: Yes!  Fluffy boots and ice fishing!  Perfect.

I say UP. $7.5-$8K

The poll is outdated btw... we already went to visit $6.5K after the poll.

---

re Monaco, unless someone is already a decamillionaire and has yearly millionare income AT MINIMUM, it's probably not easy nor justified to live there.

Maybe Andorra might be a better place for reasonable tax/cost of living ratio but...

The moral of the story is that everything comes at a price and it all balances out in the end.

Just live where you want (and can afford) to live... you will probably be taxed accordingly.

Caught "The Rise of Skywalker" last night with Rick. It was like watching two and a half hours of shit being smeared all over my eyes.

That's unfortunate. They were on a roll with Han: a Solo Story (or whatever) and the other two recent ones. I have to see it anyway: Bill Dee Williams.
