Americans be like, WTF is a hectar?
Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

What a farce.
Just as the US is opening 7 elevens, pharmacies and almost any other to place to facilitate bitcoin buying as well as ATMs all over the place, you get Germany taking a step backwards.
Don't they know that the Honey badger will not be defeated.

German chancellor infamous comment about the internet:

Das ist Neuland für uns. *

I guess in Germany we have to be thankful they didn‘t outright declare the web being illegal.

* „that’s uncharted territory for us.“

You are not alone, in sweden we had a minister saying "internet is just a fad".

What is more shocking about Sweden is that there's a website where you can see how much your neighbor earns, things he owns, how much is his house worth etc...  Grin

A little clarification.
You can see what is in public record, IE tax returns, deeds, the car registry, etc.
Anything  given to any authority, and it has been like that since 1766.
It's called offentlighetsprincipen (kind of like the freedom of information act but just a lot wider).
So yes, you can see your neighboors, or anybodys, income, and you can see what he paid for his house, current value would have to be a estimation of course. But you can not see the things he owns, that is of course not on public record.
The background for this is the incredible corruption in Sweden back then.
By making everything public you couldn't hide behind the secrecy stamp and corruption was curbed.
It's still in effect today for the same reason.

Edit: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Principle_of_public_access_to_official_records

https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C3%96ffentlichkeitsprinzip_(Schweden)

Ffs, German link doesn't work.

Here's the text from Wikipedia

B. Krankenakten."

Wow, just observing German text makes you scared even without understanding it!

I wonder how it would feel to date a German woman. I guess each culture has its own characteristics, and the same could be said about any other nation. To me, this language feels too "cold" and "rough"...

Let's value Bitcoin BTC against Gold ounces. I don't think there will ever be a better comparison since all fiat monies are dead horses.
I have XE currency on my phone and I am starting to follow BTC vs XAU since a while.

I kind of like German, it sounds precis and exact, I like that.
Their emphasis on titles is a bit too much though, They actually write all their titles out, like if you have two doctor titles and one professor title they will actually write "Herr professor, doktor, doktor Arminius Bitcoiner".

Once the physical existence of bitcoin increases and with the price keep rising, sooner or later we will have them carried in stack along with gold and get them deposited in the safe vault.  Grin

Americans be like, WTF is a hectar?

It belongs in usa measurement system [as does all metric numbers] they should know.

As an American that had a revolution against the UK.back ing 1776 how the fuck is it we are the only country still using a dead British king's arm length to measure land?

Quote
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yard

...

William of Malmesbury's Deeds of the Kings of England records that during the reign of Henry I "the measure of his arm was applied to correct the false ell of the traders and enjoined on all throughout England."[14] The folktale that the length was bounded by the king's nose[15] was added some centuries later. Watson dismisses William's account as "childish"[16] but William was among the most conscientious and trustworthy medieval historians.[17] The French "king's foot" was supposed to have derived from Charlemagne,[17] and the English kings subsequently repeatedly intervened to impose shorter units with the aim of increasing tax revenue.

The earliest surviving definition of this form of the ell appears in the Act on the Composition of Yards and Perches, one of the statutes of uncertain date[n 3] tentatively dated to the reign of Edward I or II c. 1300. Its wording varies in surviving accounts. One reads:[19]

...

So a yard is 3 feet  a mile is 5280 feet. etc.

For the life of me WTF is  America doing being the country using this.

When we left in 1776 as a fuck you to Henry the 8th. yet we still follow Henry the 1 arms length. to this day.

meanwhile as a doge multi millionaire it ticked up a bit chasing it master BTC like a good little doggie.

BTC. $11742

Doge $0.00355831. x 2,000,000 = 7116 franklins.   I got to 2,000,000  at  $0.00233 so  4660 has turned into 7116

Doge is how I can hodl my btc which is slowly growing for me.

A ledger nano s with 50000 BTC is way heavier than a bank's vault for sure! And we are talking of a "USB stick" with an unimaginable size of wealth hidden inside!

I dated a young german gal when I lived in Germany.

Those are the only ones you want to date. When they get older they are only good for watching out the front window to stare at anyone walking down the street.

Germany taking a step backwards.
Don't they know that the Honey badger will not be defeated.

Germany has been cucked by leftists beyond any rational measure. As far as I'm concerned, they are well on their way towards becoming a failed state within the next decade, at their current rate of decline.

Very sad to see Germany falling prey to the pitfalls of modern social justice initiatives. I sincerely hope they lose Merkel, and regain a sense of national pride.

Thanks, Soros.
