Toughie. I guess the key item is time: The more you wait to pleasure yourself the less time you will have to enjoy the pleasure. So I'd say balance out your lifelong intake of pleasure so it's not overwhelmed (oh great, ANOTHER Lambo) but at the same time not wasted (why did I stay in this job and shit away another year?) Cuz you can't get more years of being 20, 30, 40, 50 no matter what you do. You can live longer, but life at 70,80,90,100 is not the same as 20-50. Just my thoughts.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

i stare at the screen. green candles mass gathering on almost all the timeframes. I am in awe. bitcoin is a ridiculous motherfucker. its the only super tiny valve for all analog value existing to possibly transform into the digital space. since digital photography came along, how many analog pictures are you taking? since email became a thing, how many hand written letters are you writing through the year? when you need to find a place how often do you use analog paper maps for orientation? when the digital alternative is on par with the analog version it flips over and the digital realm sucking in +95% of the market. software eats the world. almost everything we do with money/finance is not natively digital. I doubt that in 10-20 years analog money will still be around. bitcoin is digital scarcity. this will hit the global analog value treasure like a rocket. bitcoin the most conservative bet in "crypto" and at the same time the best appreciating of compared to legacy assets. the feedback loops and incentives are brewing this storm. how many millionaires will decide sooner or later the need a btc? there's almost double as many millionaires than bitcoin on th planet. even if they came out tomorrow with a statement that they would pay 1mil fiat for each bitcoin, then several million millionaires would be left out. in a few years all this writing in here we will probably judge it as naive. we will look back and think: " wow, little did we know. " Supply crunch. I wonder what wins out this cycle. The damping effect of scale? Or scarcity? The $30k ATH crowd, or the $300k ATH. I know where my conclusions lead. I think Perfect Storm is a fine cliché for this scenario. 30-50K: Don't bother waking me. 20k in an hour
Some good sized walls to breach. Unless they are just whale's accumulation walls, and pull back from the piranha swarm. Not sure one can outswim the school: Maybe they get schooled I didn’t wait all this time for 50k.. No.. Atleast 100 or lame.. 250 I’ll be very happy.. thinking 333 tho.. I am glad that you are not greedy, eddie13, and you have a decent amount of flexibility in your expectations.

Never feel bad about taking some off the table where you feel comfortable. There are a few good pointers available to gauge whether we’ve gone from irrational to outright ludicrous USD price levels. Use those to refine your timing. And no, we are not even near the start of such level

People/friends started asking about investment in bitcoin. I tread carefully. The problem is that they always first ask about bitcoin and few months later it turned out that they changed it to something else. You cannot teach someone a life experience.
Sadly I got a friend into Bitcoin and he got burned daytarding Ripple. We don’t speak of it again. at least you speak. I lost a friend in 2017. he saw me bitcoining all year, bought some bitcoin. after ath he told me "bitcoin is old tech" and invested in cardano, ripple and electroneum. I tried to stop him. $60k. family is broke now. all gone. we don't speak no more. He thought that he was smarter than you, but instead demonstrated his lil selfie to be a dumb fuck. Pour one out for the homie. Yes it’s rough. Look at all the big block idiots who cooked their own goose - and they were on the Bitcoin train far earlier than me. That's true. I am pretty sure that those of us who did not buy into BIG blocks and that payment bullshit were not just lucky - even though I understand that some of the arguments that were bandied about by the BIG blockers were not that bad. Also, many of us (including yours truly) do have tendencies to gamble - so we could get tempted in betting too much in the direction that ended up losing out. I do know some people who just kept all of their Bcash issued coins, and I suppose that there is nothing that is really wrong with that kind of a bet because they would end up having an equal number of BCH as they had of BTC.. and they just did not sell any of the BCH - just in case. It could be confusing to see the bcash coins go down to .05BTC, and then believe that they are a value, and then end up using some BTC to leverage into those coins, but now, they have been stuck in the sub .02 BTC territory for a couple of months, currently at about .016 BTC. There could be a pump to get them back to .05BTC.. but geez don't even know if that would demonstrate the kind of value that many of them had been expecting...

Damn guys, damn. Was sort of off grid for 24 hours then come back to this. Amazing, thank you all of you too, if it wasn't for BCT I would have either sold long ago or not bought into BTC at all. Definitely a life changing experience and while I may not be on here as often as some of you I do enjoy this place and the people. This is only the start of this run I feel; we've got a long way to go. Pouring one out for our lost homie, mindrust.
Can’t imagine what emotions dude is currently experiencing.
Poor dude, I often think of him; he was the first thought I had when I saw the ATH had been breached. I hope he's ok, a quick, rash and dumb decision has cost him a lot of money but hopefully he can reconcile that with the comfort of not being exposed.

Beware: High Grade Hopium, experienced hopium users only A few things are aligning here, resonances, coherent polarisations emergent from the background chaos. 2020 could easily be 2013 reloaded. 2017 was an abbreviated run, the fork war FUD was rampant, transaction spam, then Wall St. futures topped the rally. The "each wave is weaker than the last" narrative has only a single data point. Look closely at PlanB's rainbow plot above, where is the next horizontal line level at ... I'd say around $200-300k that represents his predicted medium price, not the blow off top, e.g. as $9k has been for the past 30 months. So where is the top in that scenario, well it has to be well north of $300k, say $800k?? The 2013 reloaded scenario sees us at $160k in March-April, before a pullback and final blow-off to $800k then slow slide to settle around medium clearing level of $200-300k post 2021.
