I think we bounce around 18880 to 20220 for the next 30 days.
Normally, I would tend to agree. Indicators are weakening so the rally is becoming really long in the tooth. But there apparently is relentless buying going on. Slowly but steadily. So I think it is more realistic to see $20k today than bouncing between $18880 to $20220 for the next 30 days. This time it's different.

19500 is nice if we can go sides ways for 2-3 weeks we may have a stronger rally over the jan feb 2021 time period.
if we move up and over and into 25-30k this year we will correct in jan feb 2021

There was one sweet December back in 2017 and this is another sweet December we have now. We still have the whole month left to celebrate.

What led you to the belief Globb0 was surprised? Globb0 is not surprised by this news but interested in the implication for price, surely it would mean net up since some coin is sold immediately by miners and they are buying more than that so it will be gradually draining the supply?

I agree that they can move price upwards buying that way. Downside is what if they go weak handed and dump it.

They are not buying newly mined coins. They are buying from whales, or the 18,000,000 Bitcoin out there. The supply demand narrative is evocative, but ultimately a little bit naive. And they are forced to buy, or sell, according to flows are coming to their products. So far there have been only an accumulation of corn as the whale LOVE to give their coins to BTC to GBTC to cash in the hyuge premium without getting taxed. If ever those whales will sell their shares in GBTC, Grayscale will be forced to sell. No discretionality in GBTC head.

These sorts of posts with the data provided is exactly why I visit this thread, thanks for sharing I had heard that the combination of paypal/square/greyscale purchasing was almost 2x the mined supply at the moment, but seems like greyscale are 2x on there own. Does anyone have data on paypal/square accumulation at the moment?

I'm thinking with the amount of money they are playing with and the lucrative business they have created, it's unlikely they would easily allow their customers to bail. Too much greed when it comes to money and making money. However, what do I know? I've been wrong more than once in my life.

Wow. Paul Tudor Jones lays out a belief that Bitcoin is new gold and every sovereign nation will have a digital currency.
Starts around 6 min mark.
Remarkable comments to @JuliaLaRoche from one of the legends of Wall Street. https://twitter.com/APompliano/status/1334531029382688778
