The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

If the US government keeps allowing large companies to place capitol into Bitcoin, I’m going to have to assume that the US government is Satoshi and they hold all the Satoshi coins..

Something is up..
How are they now so sure Bitcoin isn’t hackable or the gov won’t turn against it..
I’m thinking they must have some assurances from higher up..

Or pumping until the the next government comes into power and stop it from continuing?  Huh -I hope not.

Either the Democrats will do the complete opposite of what they say (which is probably the case considering Obama's love for Wall Street's track record etc) or crypto might get some possible negative attention in the next 4 years.

They cannot shut down BTC but forcing the likes of Coinbase to close / go underground could have a big impact on money flowing in from big players obviously.

I was supposed to work today and yesterday, but with COVID, the craziness in the US, the stock market rallying, and BTC doing ATH after ATH, I just can't.

Too bad I can't quit my job yet and probably not before a bear market and another bull run after that.

There's no goose on the Canadian dollar; it's a loon.  We affectionately call the Canadian dollar a loonie.

It's the thought that counts so I will affectionately refer to that as a twitter/meme faux-pas.

Big players are fully KYC/AML compliant, pay their taxes etc., so I don't see any administration going after them (aside from increasing taxes, but even that is doubtful in the US).

Cracking down on unregulated stuff, yes, and that could impact the price for sure.

Let's see how much resistance there is at the $40k barrier. It will be tested soon.

Maybe they're referring to the winter clothing company, Canada Goose?

Thanks.

First thing I did after seeing $50k was phone my brother to tell him the good news that he'd earned $2.5k in less than 24 hours.

Seems he'd received a call from his wife's estate saying his money was ready to be picked up and he was already on his way. Had to pull over to answer his phone. Turns out he used his line of credit to get the $20k yesterday because he saw what was happening and FOMOed  a little. Now he's glad he did.

Gotta see if my OTC connection will take his certified check or bank draft instead of real cash.

Well f***K me!
Due to my hot wallet bulging, I bought a couple of silver coins a few days ago.
I just did the math and paid double spot using todays BTC price.
Oh well, glad I only spent what used to be considered "dust".

Looks like I'm gonna have to move another batch of coins to sell pretty soon.

Promised Rick I'd take another ~mil off the table @ $50k USD/BTC, on principle.

I've got problems.
No shit, this is like winning the lottery every day. Is this hell by chance?

Hey, let's play a game. I'm willing to give away 0.01 btc. Anyone has any suggestion for a fun game?

Why dont we use Deribit or Bitmex testnet to see who can leverage the most fake coins? A trading contest.

You 80x’t this sh*t?

Cool

Sure, you wanna go up against me and see who becomes fake rich faster?  Cool Grin
