What I don't understand is why Trump didn't immediately switch to Gab or Parler when he became president. All his followers would have switched too, and all his opponents and all of MSM would have had to switch too.
It would have made it an immediate success and a serious, uncensored, threat to twitter.

Parler is no different. Parler is a US corporation, and as such has to abide by the same laws and regulations. There absolutely is "censorship" on Parler. They remove posts, ban users, etc. who violate their terms&conditions.

Yes, well of course they have rules, everybody does, but Parler only have what you might call "skeleton rules" but if you brake those, you will of course be punished. But they are neutral, and don't kick people out for having the "wrong" ideas.

"Wrong" actually is "harmful", "wrong" opinions that are not harmful are not censored. And in that sense all the MS social media also have skelleton rules. I mean you can still spread anti-vax shit there. And people do actually believe that shit causing huge economic damage - and driving up the price of my health insurance and making it take longer till the bars and clubs reopen.

It doesn't matter what label you put on it, it's still censorship.

Well, ladies and germs, it is a happy/sad day for me. Sad because I have family dying/dead of the imaginary virus, happy, because I paid off my debt.

I quit smoking cigarettes and started DCA to BTC the same amount. Today I changed my hat, to the one that xhomerx10 created for me in 2018. It is so good to see the OG here, and doing well. Hope/prayers/smoke (whatever works for you) go to all here that are ill.

I have only a few sats left, but it's been life-changing. I hope to hold for some time. Envious of all that can actively still play the game, my local Linux/python Gox balancing bot did good for me for a long time, while it was in existence. Mark K owes me...

Today i suffered from acute hearing loss, everything sounded dull but some sounds like claps and low rumbles were uncomfortably loud, almost painful, at least irritating, accompanied by the constant feel of a state of passing out the very next moment. Lasted a few hours until it faded away. I'm fine now, but tired AF but i wanted to hold up to my words, so here's the eyecandy (which fits to the price action today somehow, imo).

 Nah.  It's not epilepsy - don't scare the guy!  I've had it a couple of times and while it sucks, it doesn't usually last long.  He'll probably be fine tomorrow. 

Thanks, no worries. I have this occasionally (few times a year) but it wasn't as intense and long lasting before. Like migraine on the ear(s), felt like it was originating in the neck area. I'm still a little tired but well.


My mum asked me about bitcoin yesterday, she seemed really interested, though she had a very wrong picture of it, generally.
She told me that she saw a documentary that the "owner" of bitcoin is living on an island and has ten children, when she possibly meant Craig Wright.
I said: Don't consider investing into some "bitconín" which is "owned" by somebody 
She's over 70 now, so it was hard to explain that she does not have to buy a whole bitcoin. She seemed to have a better picture through explaining "satoshis" (like cents) to her  A nice experience, all in all.

- France will mobilize all laboratories to avoid the spread of the new Corona variants at all costs.

- The evidence is not conclusive but Pfizer claims that their vaccine protect people against the highly transmissible new variants. (fingers crossed if Pfizer ore other vaccine's are working against new variants 6 months ore 1 year from now.)

Was talking to a surgeon dude the other day, and he brought up an interesting per-capita point about India having a relatively low death rate.

Even in the densest slums packed with over 2 million people, the death rate is pretty low.

Why ?

It's because they are all on HCQ over there for anti-malaria purposes. They make the stuff in India, so it's passed out like candy at $0.02 a pill. Just need one dose a week.

HCQ, coupled with Zinc, has been proven to reduce cytokine storm severity, providing prophylactic capability against severe COVID-19 infection. Called my doctor, after talking to surgeon dude, asking for HCQ as prophylaxis, and doctors are largely refusing to fill orders for it in the US, for, reasons.

Everything is dumb.
