man if someone would have told me a few months ago that I would buy a dip @ 34200  I don't know what my reaction would have been..

I have no more dry powder.  didn't really know I had any powder, but found just a little more.  NOW I am really out of fiat.

Is it just me or do "instant transfers" seem not so instant when your buy finger is extra itchy?
You're not the only one!
But I would not advise you to buy on emotion, you should have a strategy and pre-set orders, then you will not be nervous because of instant transfers seem not so instant!

So the first real correction after break of previous 2017 all time high has arrived. Any guess on when we'll be back past 42k?

I'm thinking mid/late February and then 50k early March. This could very well be too bearish of an opinion.

We cannot rule out the possibility that we will be back to 42,000 by the end of this week..

Your absolutely right there. Can't rule anything out with bitcoin.

I wouldn't say I was nervous. My strategy... BTFD.  Wish I knew when and how deep the dips are.  Unfortunately, I don't hahaha.

I can just see headlines now...

BITCOIN CRASHES  to 35K!!!

And just like that, all the taxi drivers and Grandmas who fomo bought at 41k, promptly sell their $10 worth of Bitcoin on Robinhood so they don't lose everything....

You 'nailed' it! That is 'exactly' like BTC/Crypto works!

I find this a lot more easily said than done, then when we had like 2013 $150 BTC prices and it dipped 1/3 down to 'gasp' $100 for a BTC!

AT $40k to $30k I'm afraid my 'big brass ones' 'shrivel' a bit don't you know, my finger 'waivers' my 'bearish' tendencies yelling 'sell, sell....'

come over to the 'dark side' ..no need to HODL silly 'mortal' ...fiat is your friend! Smiley

So far I'm resisting on selling, but freaking out on buying (did a tiny amount of buy on dip today)...I need a 're-hydration' of 2013 level

BTC/Crypto Kool-Aid it seems! Keep getting distracted by the 'altitude'  (look 'bird!') at $40k and perfectly balanced with indecision at $40 on the fence.

Again, was a lot easier at $2.20 LTC and $150 BTC let me tell you! This 'high level' Mage type BTC/Crypto faith is a bit more 'daunting', don't ya know! Smiley

They will use some catchy word like "Tumbles" or "Collapses".  Triggers more emotion.

No one knows for sure. But there is a technical analysis, when you make an order you can judge from it how strong the fall can be and put orders at several levels, like BobLawblaw does  Roll Eyes

$34k BTC will have to do for today. Wink

I hear you there bro.
I used to send and receive bitcoin and shitcoin like throwing quarters into a poker pot.
These days, I'm scared just to even plug in my wallet.
Albeit, probably helps with the hodeling, lol...

Yeah totaly understood.  I've been doing that too but, all my TA set orders got filled. I didn't feel like I was done buying.

Problem with TA and BTC is 10% of the time it works everytime.

Well we could expect such a dip. It went up too fast in a very short time.

We should just wait till this is over and then we will go to the moon.  Cool

Sadly, I can't fully relate to this. I can only wish I knew what it was like to buy BTC at $150.

It felt expensive. First time, anyway. Second time, reasonable. Third time, a bargain.

(To be exact, third time it was above 150 but below 200.)
