No, the main reason is that Bitcoin price became overbought.
News are released at right time to resolve the overbought phenomenon.  Cheesy

Bitcoin Investors Face Severe Restrictions From HSBC & UK Banks. HSBC and other unnamed UK banks will not agree transfers from cryptocurrency exchanges. Furthermore, HSBC will ot permit Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), or other altcoin-linked deposit or even deposits associated with a crypto wallet in their customers bank accounts.
Is this the main reason for the dump ?

No, the main reason is that Bitcoin price became overbought.

Bitcoin can’t be overbought.... though I like the market testing the newbies and shaking the FOMO right back out of them....

The market decide who’s worthy to profit of future gain and usage of BTC

Holy crap it's dumping. On Kraken orders were limited to "limit post only", don't know what that means, I managed to execute one finally.

Not really buying the dip as I want lower, but I had sold some coins elsewhere and needed to rebuy.

It’s crazy that we have a proven upside unimaginable potential and where been over 42K, that people are selling at 25-30-ish% lower prices as what the top was ....  Instead of DCA the max out of it at this time right now

That's some really scary shit, how six filthy rich people can control 90% of the online communication.

People on the extreme left are too stupid to realise that they are actively advocating that everyone just becomes a consumer in the end. There will not be a Twitter for the average user if this goes on, with the reason: "well words on the internet can be too dangerous". You will literally only have blue tick Twitter users and Grey tick YouTubers with comments switched off.

Consider that 20-25 years ago people started to go on the internet as it had alternative voices to media corporations - tv - newspapers etc. The internet is slowly turning into the thing that people got bored with. Perhaps people who grew up with the internet already there don't realise that?

I reckon with communication being that easily controlled by these cowards (cowards, because they all seem to act in tandem with big bans - deplatforming) I don't see how marginalising Bitcoin is impossible.

Don't you think there is a margin between total censorship and "anything goes" ?

Also, it's not being "extreme left" to prevent people from organizing a coup and lynchings, it's called civilization.

With a quick top like this, would be normal to have a 30-40% correction so 24-28k$. We broke the daily (parabolic) trend line under 32K$... Look plausible for me to bottom around the 25K$ before going up, more.

If I can guess: is that to prevent a micro crash from market orders?

With that type of logic book burning can be justified indeed.
I see it as a slippery slope like I said. Others see it as a good thing for the greater good.

As pointed out that greater good is slowly controlled only by billionaires.

That makes sense. But even regular limit orders weren't accepted, I had to go to the charts etc. and there is something to tick "Post Only" and that did the trick.

Book burning by whom ? We're talking about private companies here. And usually on bitcoin forums people don't have problems with billionaires, but I guess there are exceptions.

Merited by BobLawblaw (1)

Good morning Bitcoinland.

I see we finally got the "big" correction we've all been waiting for... currently $33343USD/$42792CAD (Bitcoinaverage) and bouncing wildly.

Hopefully my check will clear before the price recovers too much. My brother's on his way with $30kCAD to buy more.

What a splendid buying opportunity.

Thank you retail panic sellers.

I registered for this but never got the emails as there is some kind of waiting list ? Maybe I got them but so long after that I didn't notice.

It may be related to your location, not sure they are available worldwide. Happy to send you an invite if you want to share your email on DM. Totally understand if not though.

I'm registered, I even have a VISA ! But the part about altcoin drops is separate, I clicked on all of them and was supposed to wait.
