I just learned JJG has balls. it is only if you count yelling at someone on a message board as an indication of having "balls". albeit, maybe this is exactly what you meant in less words

Can these billionaires learn to shut the fuck up about Bitcoin until they actually sit down and learn something about it? This is why the public thinks they are complete idiots, and why no one should care what they think. and then literally on Jan 28, 2021What I Think of Bitcoin https://www.bridgewater.com/research-and-insights/ray-dalio-what-i-think-of-bitcoin"Overall, it’s clear that Bitcoin has features that could make it an attractive storehold of wealth; it also has proven resilient so far. However, we have to acknowledge that this financial vehicle is only a decade old. In absolute terms and vis-a-vis established storeholds of wealth such as gold, how will this digital asset fare going forward? Future challenges may still come from quantum computing, regulatory backlash, or issues we haven’t even determined yet. Even if none of these materialize, Bitcoin, for now, feels more to us like an option on a potential storehold of wealth."

NYSE closed GME trading? That didn't age well. Stockfuckheads trying to scam Wallstreetbets. Why does Bloomberg and Google show GME at $132 and $208 suddenly now? Just a few hours ago it was ~$380-400...what happened? Just curious The brokers have been opening for seconds at a time, just enough to allow the hedgefunds to drive the price down (probably just selling to each other), then immediately closing, thereby removing any opportunity for retail investors to buy. Then 20 mins later the same thing happens again. The manipulation is happening in plain view but it can't go on forever. Sooner or later the market wil have to reopen properly and as long as the retail investors HODL, or keep buying, the price will have to go up. I tried hard to buy BB, GME, NOK for $100 each today, without financial interest, just to support the WSB "thing". Registered and validated an account at an online broker, waited until markets opening and finally succeeded after a couple of tries. BB was easy, GME and NOK i had to pinpoint that time window and the trading app had hangs and lags. I was thinking that bitcoin was so good to me, that i should just take some "play money" and lose it for good. Seconds later, the charts updates on GME froze, so i was pretty lucky. Let's see how this turns out.

Citadel is giving a bad name to the 'Citadel' dream of bitcoiners. Shall we rename it? To what? Choose among synonyms: stronghold castle donjon hold alcazar the most here would probably go for Stronghold/Hold/Hodl ( ) with a minority for donjon, but my favorite is Alcazar (sound sci-fi-yingly), albeit it was moorish. F-g Citadel is dead to me as a symbol of the future.

They already f**cked up many times but still have some good desire for this because this is their last resort and they want to live with this all shit.

EDIT: ok, we should just go with "Biggus Dickus" if we have LFC and The Dude with us. “Citadel” is used in the Bitcoin community to refer to an idyllic version of tomorrow where individuals come together voluntarily to work and live off the land. The idea is to build systems that can exist with minimal contact with governments and corporations.

ETH? Wrong Thread Not really because ETH here just meant crypto currencies in general. Although i am not a big fan of altcoins but I think Ethereum (along with bitcoin) has a big role when it comes to the mass adoption of crypto currencies. indeed wrong thread, buddy. VERY WRONG actually. no bringing up of pre-mined, centralized scams in here. what you think about this scam is completely irrelevant. it is consensus in here to only talk, think, eat and drink bitcoin in here.

One thing that needs to be dealt with in this matter is the fact that people can buy bitcoin on Robinhood but they're not actually buying BTC. Similar to the PayPal scheme, you can't pull your bitcoin off. You have to sell it.
I know my sister bought bitcoin on Robinhood because it was easy.
We need to give these folks an easy way to move from Robinhood BTC to an exchange BTC (and eventually into their own wallet).
I think the only way would be for them to sell BTC on Robinhood, take the money out in dollars into their bank account and open up an exchange account and move the dollars there.
People don't like taking that many steps.

There is one thing to be said about that 2nd place shitcoin not to be mentioned in here. Were it not for its existence in the uppity, my bitcoin balance at Nicehash wouldn't be climbing at a rather incredible rate for the ancient cards I'm mining with. So there is that.....
