Just noticed that Last of the V8s is still AWOL, anybody got any news from him, is he well?

Also gentlemand seems gone too.

I miss both their posts.

Did the covid get them?

I came close to losing my wife and she still is dealing with damaged lungs 🫁.

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

My charts with random lines help me to see previous trends and potential future trends.

That's right. Charts with random lines are the best, because the chances of getting it right is maximized by the randomness. If you try to apply any TA on them, the probability of getting it right quickly diminishes to zero.

tl;dr: Roll a dice.

PAPER BITCOIN

https://twitter.com/DoveyWan/status/1352598399002894337

Just a kind reminder that paper bitcoin (GBTC, up coming bitcoin ETF, bitcoin index and many more quasi bitcoin thing) - Most wont have redemption rights but only a price exposure instrument to BTC as an speculative asset

So it’s the worst for your Plan฿

The orange line you see here was put on here prior to this peak occurring.  When I saw the price break out of the main channel I set a small sell order at the price that intersects the orange line.  Once it was filled I immediately set another buy order just above the middle line in the channel (dotted line) which also got filled.

Like I said... it's been working for me most of the time.  If it worked every time I would of already quit my job.

Since we were assured that comrade Biden is about to install communism worldwide, I figured a Dnepr Ural* would be a good choice:

The 'Red October' model seems fitting well for these times, though I am not sure I woke some sleeping dogs when I inquired the model with an automatic gun turret instead of the passenger seat. I am not sure if the salesman really bought my reply when he asked what I need a gun turret for and I said "peaceful protests".

gentlemand really needs to come back, I am not even remotely good enough to fill the void  Grin

I really hope not, especially not in a way that keeps them from posting.

Otherwise to your wife and all that had it (or something else): Get well soon and have a quick recovery!

Also gentlemand seems gone too.

If you mean on this member https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=155345 , then I can tell you that he was removed from CM signature campaign a few weeks ago, which may explain his absence from the forum. Of course that doesn’t have to be the only reason, everyone has some reasons of their own.

The MSM right on time with the Bitcoin negative news. CNBC makes sure it's at the top of the home page these days.  Roll Eyes
Bitcoin briefly tumbles below $30,000, falling 12% so far this week
https://www.cnbc.com/2021/01/21/bitcoin-drops-below-30000.html
Quote
"However, Biden’s choice of Treasury Secretary, former Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen, is a crypto skeptic who warned earlier this week that the government may need to “curtail” the use of virtual currencies to prevent illicit activity."
TL/DR Message: Dammit Average Joe, why do you care so much? Stay the fk away from Bitcoin! Janet Yellowstain is gonna smash it!
Also heard this was the reasoning behind it. With old president out new members of the team will ruffle some feathers causing shock effect so need to wait a couple of days until things settle down and they settle in knowing what is what.

Sorry, but we need sooner or later also the money of the average Joe. He buys currently gold and silver and stocks. But we also need him to sell all his gold, silver and stocks to buy bitcoins. We need to educate the average joe.
Just wait until they get a load of this asteroid with a helluva lot of those metals on it's base. Cheesy

Elon will be manning the rocketship so to harvest the sh*t outta that mofo very soon.
Suchmoon has a point, when there is alot of surplus gold and silver their value will plummet. Wink

You are absolutely right, sorry. I fixed it.
I got lost when I saw the 'Red October' from a Dnepr reseller and followed the link without noticing it is an Ural in fact.
Nonetheless, riding either of them allows you to address other people as your comrades  Wink

I think this is what they are saying caused the rip in the price yesterday:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5311303.0
The double spend hoax? Nahhh.
OG's know it is pure BS, as does big money - if in doubt, they ask their advisors.
Newbies could fall for that, if they even hear about it, but how much market moving muscle can be in clueless noobs who entered at 20k+?
Your very right there d_eddie.
Tone Vays just mentioned about this double spending not happening as it hasn't for a 'very longgggg time' in those very same words.
Mentioning on his livestream he'll be in Tampa later on (st. petersburg to be exact) so to come join him for drinks. Cheesy
Sounded quite depressed I guess the attack on the capitol didnt go as planned so now he has to talk about bitcoin again. Grin
