umm.... guys?

Welcome back.

When I saw your post I went to check the BCH and BSV price... But Kraken doesn't list the latter...

Hope all is well.

Right - we didn't want to loose you.

Apparently u/DeepFuckingValue isn't anonymous. He even did an interview with WSJ. Really hope he stays safe.

Keith Gill aka u/DeepFuckingValue talks with WSJ

Quote
“I didn’t expect this,” said Keith Gill, 34 years old, known as “DeepF—ingValue” by fans on Reddit’s WallStreetBets forum and “Dada” by his 2-year-old daughter. He said he didn’t set out to draw the attention of Congress, the Federal Reserve, hedge funds, the media, trading platforms and hundreds of thousands of investors.

“This story is so much bigger than me,” Mr. Gill told The Wall Street Journal in his first interview since the unboxing this week of a volatile new stock market game. “I support these retail investors, their ability to make a statement.”

I hope he stays safe among all this publicity.

sounds retarded to give a public interview with real name.  Roll Eyes

People probably would have made the connection anyways without the interview. It's more than likely he had mentioned his real name on his YT channel in the past, and its also pretty likely that some people (atleast on Reddit) knew that u/DeepFuckingValue was associated with that channel, so its pretty likely that this would have come out anyways, but yeah the interview surely has accelerated it.

It was bound to happen.  He has linked himself to his youtube channel on reddit a few times.  Doesn't take too much digging to find it but, a WSJ interview surely sped that process up.

Last he posted his holdings he was $13 mil in cash and $36 mil in GME shares.  He started with about $56k.  He should probably have deleted his youtube, reddit, and social accounts and went silent... at least that's what I would of done.

Big move is due to break of the triangle formation. let's hope it is not a fake breakout.

So i guess the move has nothing to do with real world happenings...

You chartists are amazing..

Did not see the Musk quote till after I made that post. However, Support and resistance lines are absolutely relevant and the reason why is because people think they are relevant. Support and resistance levels are therefore where people place their orders and stops. Why do you think that the big moves are always made around these levels? To ignore where people position thier orders is just plain fucking stupid.

Got one share GME. Set sell order at 50k. Diamond hands. Waiting for squeeze. Buy BTC. HODL.
Setting the order may prevent the share from being lend out again. Legend  Cool

Same here. Bought more shares than I care to admit, and set a sell order for those shares at some astronomical figure.

Don't care if it all goes to zero.

I want to see loss porn, Goddamnit.

It's the only thing that makes me feel anything, any more.

If Bitcoiner can be a gender or identity then you're good !

Too bad for Kraken, I can't do my usual arbitraging.

Based on my experience, Bitcoiner is definitely an identity and there aren't enough of us yet.

What are Dogecoins?

Ok. DOGECOINERS FUCK OFF.

NO MORE OF THAT SHIT IN HERE.

DOGECOIN IS MORE DEGENERATE THAN THE LIFESTYLE I LEAD.

That says a lot.

There was a waller from Milwaukee
who thought "doge" could rhyme with "corgi"
while trying to sound posh
he spoke it like "dosh"
BobLawbLaw said "me pipe, you doggie!"

Can someone explain why that is so though? Can't exchanges similarly just "stop" people from buying bitcoin? I get that people can still do P2P transactions, but what happens if the "big" exchanges treat bitcoin similarly as RH did, restricting the buying...what happens then?

Might well cause a Streisand effect.. or a pushing of the BTC market underground.

There have already been numerous attacks on BTC in its history from a variety of governments and from a variety of financial institutions.  Remember how many Chinese citizens got fucked in 2016/2017 because their government was playing games with bitcoin and many of them pretty much got locked out of the 2016/2017 bull run because of actions of their government to lock up funds on exchanges... Similar kinds of things happened in India, and the Indian people are the ones that got screwed and locked out of being able to get into bitcoin while bitcoin still got pumped in other places around the world.

Other governments have taken similar stances in terms of trying to control the access of their citizens to bitcoin, and who ended up getting screwed?  Their citizens...

Don't tell me that USA has not been making some efforts to try to keep bitcoin underwraps in various ways through the years, and there are likely segments of the USA government that are regretting having had decided to auction off so many BTC in 2014 and 2015, and sure some BIG governments might strive towards going after bitcoin in new and innovative ways, but might well have some effects that backfire, screw various of their citizens and end up contributing towards wack-a-mole issues rather than really stifling bitcoin in any kind of longer term or meaningful way.

How are you going to bet, PhoenixZephyrus?  Hopefully you are sufficiently prepared for UP rather than asking stupid ass questions that make it appear that you might NOT be sufficiently prepared for up on a personal level because you are too worried about nonsense negative scenarios that are not too likely to happen in ways that you imagine.,. rather than focusing on more likely scenarios.

DFV doxxing himself is a stunt so no secret assassin will attempt anything on his life right now, otherwise it's going to be murder and they'll all blame the hedge funds. He's probably safer now than if he didn't identify himself. Ideally, he should have started being completely anon on WSB with no connection to his other activities.
