I posted a week ago here, eXPHorizon begging for BTC on Reddit. He and his poor mum, need it. He promises to pay it back, when he is rich.

Sob stories do not work. The world is full of them.

A crap job will get the median wage $50k per year, if you have any skill, I believe eXPHorizon can code, will fetch USA average of around $90k per year ie 3 BTC I guess he could save $90k over 3 years by being careful.

Or outline his business plan here which he says will make him rich, never know some Angel Investors might be tuned in.

The sad guess is a genuinely good guy is down on his luck and 3 BTC will set up a dealership to fund his habit. Until all that is gone too.

barts and reverse barts are back people

Been noticing the same thing.  Has something taken the place of Bitmex?  Still trying to figure out the dynamics of this.

As tired as I am of the wunderdoof this at least will be interesting.  Well... I kind of HOPE it's interesting.

Jack is pretty well planted as the maximallist billionaire.  In some ways I am just waiting for him to crack and do something horrible like add DOGE to the CashAPP or the like.  But I think it is WAAAAY more likely he has gotton through to Musk prior to this, and this whole thing is really damage control.  Dorsey seems to actually GET the main bits about BTC and why it is the one really important thing.   My highest hope is he has used his access to educate EM a little in the aftermath of his who mis-step into "crypto".

Anyway.  I doubt I will watch this live or anything... but I am interested to see how it turns out exactly.

... sociopaths like one thing almost as much as putting themselves in control of a mob, putting themselves in center of attention with some drama queen antics or another, it's very good odds clown-show musk lets out some Doge barks to create some drama, he can't help himself at this point ... in many ways personality-wise he's similar to CSW ... saturday night live trainwreck would be like opium for him

... or a bitcoin fork with "green" mining algorithm "Bitcoin Green"

To me it is very dissapointing how people forcefully push their Prejudice upon other people believing that what they think or say is the Absolute Truth and there is nothing more to that than their Official Prejudice .. Maybe  ... there is nothing i can do to get a Helping hand from BitcoinTalk.. And i should look elsewhere . Yes i got some Great ideas that could be turned into Great Profit and benefit quite alot of people.

This event is surely in hype and many btc enthusiast including me are waiting for Dorsey to make self proclaimed genius know the importance of bitcoin and these memecoins he is promoting and changing his twitter profile picture for personal benefits won't work any long.

Possible scenario:

At the event Dorsey to EM : What benefits you see in these shitcoins or memecoins on top of bitcoin and how do you see development team working on them ?
EM : I am in talks with them and will make faster transaction speed and low fees so it's going to the moon

So all this is enough for coin to provide security in a complete decentralised manner?

EM : We will think (inside his mind I should not have come to this event and focus on my Tesla gigafactories only)

His reaction at the end of event will be like this :

Then he might give statement Tesla is thinking to accept btc again  Grin

This market is hilarious, it wrecks all traders. Bull and Bear. I follow a pretty solid guy on Tik Tok (Virtualbacon) and he said he sold all Coins (including ETH and alts) he had into stable coin after Bitcoin broke 30K and wanted to buy back at 20-23K. Let's see if he is ever able to buy back without loss. Selling at these levels is very risk I think. If we trade between 30 and 40k until mid September I have hope for a good December. Of course it could go down to test 20K but risking to sell at 29.5K, I dont know man. Whoever is in control of this market is playing out both sides very well.

I personally expect a last massive push down right before a full recovery and parabolic end of the cycle. Or we move the ATH into 2022. But I doubt 64K was the top of this cycle. İf it was, I am gonna consider selling all Bitcoin I have in the next cycle top 2025. Or at least 50%. Because if we only can go 3x in this cycle, then we might go 1.5x? next cycle. And then even out and keep constant levels and have no more halving cycles.

Speaking of mass adoption:
Seven in 10 institutional investors expect to invest in or buy digital assets in the future, although price volatility is the main barrier for new entrants, a study by Fidelity's cryptocurrency business found.
Around 90% of those interested in investing in future said they expected their company's or their clients' portfolios to include digital asset investments within the next five years, the research found.

https://www.reuters.com/business/most-institutional-investors-expect-buy-digital-assets-study-finds-2021-07-20/

Quantitative trader Sam Trabucco revealed late Tuesday that the company purchased Bitcoin during its latest price decline, adding that the company’s cautious strategy to go long BTC/USD surfaced out of at least three “recovery” catalysts: a potential end to the ongoing crypto FUD (China ban, Grayscale epic unlock, etc.), the stock market’s intraday recovery, and weaker long liquidations in the derivatives market.
“In my view, all these points [to] a similar (if vague) direction,” Trabucco wrote.
“News impact tends to revert? I’d expect crypto to rally more. Stock market *did* revert? I’d expect crypto to have reverted more, too. Liquidation moves usually revert? Same story.”
