Yeah, I understand this, it was like ... a bunch of things Adobe did that protection was weak, like all their previous generation software, particularly Photoshop (which is why everyone seems to have it, or it's always at the top of the list on the pirate bay.)
As for the PDF files themselves, I don't mind the free reader app, and Calibre works too, and I've gotten a whole bunch of them over the years, saved, offline. Books, some are obviously scanned and saved as a PDF instead of 300 jpegs. Others are actually decent texts that were created using Word or some other document word processor and saved/printed to PDF. I figure if I need a hard copy I can always print it, which is why I'm not too fond of epub and mobi. I've ended up converting them to PDF anyway.
If your adamant about using pdfs then at least don't use reader. Foxit is a great alternative, its defaults protect you from alot of pdf background fuckery.

Random chart of the month: Bitfinex Shorts Liquidation range on a monthly scale (Note three Monthly wicks confirming resistance to shorting pressure with liquidation zone) This otherwise isn't something easily recognized on the Weekly chart: Bitfinex 94.5% long at the moment. Shorts chart looks bearish regardless. Room to bounce before further liquidations at best.

I figure if I need a hard copy I can always print it, which is why I'm not too fond of epub and mobi. I've ended up converting them to PDF anyway.
Epub and mobi are actually preferable for that *because* they are designed for reflow. PDF is a layout format so if (for an admittedly rare example) your PDF was designed for a 5"x5" page, printing to letter or A4, it would be suboptimal (in fact, even the differences between letter and A4 have caused me issues on occasion). Oh, never paid much attention to that. It's a good thing I just keep all of them. I do understand the reflow thing, but I don't like much when some text have hard-coded page numbers in them and reflow causes a little confusion. It's a minor thing and probably the fault of the author for not making the text "know" which goes to what page. Most of the PDFs I have had to view are in Letter format, 8.5 x 11, so it's not an issue for me personally. I guess it's a "metric" vs "imperial" kind of thing where everyone should be using A4, but you know how these standards developed and the countries that use them. It's going to take awhile before some countries stop using miles and pounds and "Letter" If your adamant about using pdfs then at least don't use reader.
Foxit is a great alternative, its defaults protect you from alot of pdf background fuckery.
I tried it before. I know a little bit enough about Reader to keep me sane when using it. Also tried different apps on mobile devices, and after trying a bunch of them ended up going back to Reader too. A lot of government forms in PDF recommend (or require) Reader, they don't seem to work as well with others. I'll keep trying, maybe Foxit is much better now than before.

Now it seems that we have broken resistance and that we are going to 50K in the blink of an eye.
$46,325.22 on bitstamp.
Waiting for trolldhon and his theories.
The price is taking a while to take off. In theory there is no resistance anymore until $50K or so, but it seems to be struggling although it is still gradually moving upwards. Source.

My experience: You can only be worried about money if you have money you don't want to lose, for any reason. No money, no worries (about money). No woman, no cry.
Money well gives you security, which again, is not happiness. Well, maybe happiness is sometimes dependent on security. But it's not the same at all.
You have to realize that your personal experience does not apply to the whole population. You might not get happier if you get rich, but the majority of people do, as shown by science, and me. In this one you are simply wrong I'm afraid. Still, it's not the money that makes you happier. It are the things it buys you, aren't they? So i stand by my point, people get happier if they get rich, because they know how money makes them able to buy things that make them happy. BUT many things make you happy only for a short time. So people want "more happy", buy more things. The old supercar isn't super anymore? No problem, buy a new one. Enjoy it until you see the next, even more super supercar. The moment you know there is a better one you want to have, you're unhappy (about still having the old one).

Well one good thing about covid is township changed rules on sheds. I can have 2 of them. 120 sq ft each. Vs 1 at 100 sq ft. I opted for a 8 by 14 = 112 sq ft. as my fence has a 10ft gate so I can not fit a 10 ft shed.
gate below
pad I did myself 4.5 tons of 3/4 inch bluestone. Wicked case of poison ivy clearing the brush out.
shed it will have a mirror image on the right Side of the yard. maybe by fall.
This should allow me to organize spare parts and keep the mining parts out of the house. Cost was 4600 for shed well made all real plywood inside and 2 by 4 on 16 inches for framing. The top windows let in a ton of light. And the lower windows let in more. A lock on the double door. I paid 240 for the bluestone I paid 160 for black weed block I paid 300 for 4 by 4 wood I paid 100 for some stainless steel anchors and hardware. So 5400. oh 100 bucks for Poison Ivy treatments. I will photo it in place later on.
