It was textbook...and now it's gone. True but it's the most excitement there's been round here in weeks lol It helps that I'm holding LTC and personally I'm waiting to see how things stand tomorrow. Feels like today is a warm up

december/january: "to prevent manipulation and to help foster a stable btc ecnomy, we are adding a trading commission" march: "to be consistent with our ltc pairings, we are removing the trading commission"
btcchina is whack. Sounds like they have their priorities wrong, or everything the ceo does is some type of manipulation.

There will be alot of asking about ltc, when huobi fully starts with it...
any idea of when would that be? 19.3.2014 at 2pm (chinies time) as far as I know But when I wrote fully, I meant till sunday (it will take few days for traders to make good volume). Don't think so, 0.035-0.04 max. Huobi adding it doesn't really mean a lot, BTC-e had huge volume on last big LTC pump, Huobi was/is not needed there when there is enough money around. And there is enough money around only when Bitcoin is bubbling and new players are entering the crypto world.
It's just another news driven pump we've seen zillion times in bitcoin, litecoin and many other altcoins.
You're forgetting that ltc allready was at 0.05 btc... and that happend without huobi, btcchina, kraken, cavirtex... GoCoin! No, I am not forgetting that, that happened, as other big ltc pump did, in time when bitcoin bubbled and when ther was so much money on the market that even smallest and most obscure alts were 10 bagger.

Feels like today is a warm up sell the news tomorrow? Well since Huobi kick in with LTC trading tomorrow my reasoning is that there is the promise higher prices than $20 If not then I'm hoping/gambling that the 18$ and above should hold at least but I bought at $16.2 so looking safe. Really I want to trade back to BTC so I'm hoping BTC stays put at $620 ish That's unlikely though lol

Sure, bring some volume with 0 fee and when you gain customers you add the fee, not so hard to understand, they did the same with BTC, you are just being fanatic over Bitcoin, I am a trader and LTC seems an opportunity with lower risk comparing to other scamcoins, I would consider trading only BTC or LTC at this point.... Also I love the fast confirmations

When China started to buy BTC the price have risen hard so what should we expect for LTC?
Litecoin over 50$ soon.
Lol, LTC is on BTCChina since some 2 weeks ago. And on many other Chinese websites since months ago. I mean, I understand that crypto industry is such that money is made on news like current LTC ones but I hope you guys not really believe in all stuff you are speaking.

ok, could we re-name the thread into "i´m exited about LTC and give a fuck about BTC since there may be more gains in LTC" please ? disclaimer: i missed the ltc train completly. now i know how those btc critics must feel when month after month they came to the conclusion btc is just a fad, but it actually wasn´t. the first time i could have bought ltc was when price was just a few cents. but i didn´t, because i didn´t think ltc made much sense. i kept thinking that all the way up... looks like there are 2 options now: jump on the ltc train now or get fkn angry about this ltc sheit and troll around in the ltc forums..

The problem with Huobi giving a fixed date, is that all the Huobi traders probably moved BTCs to other exchanges in order to buy LTCs ahead of the release. I wouldn't except the price to skyrocket much more than that. Then of course Huobi must have it's share of slow brained people who might start buying only tomorrow.

Also, now that all Big exchanges add LTC exclusively, maybe Bitstamp is the next one to add it, they are missing a big peace of the pie...wink wink...

Haha very true, don't anyone misunderstand my earlier post (edit : as gloating). I might have got lucky catching this LTC train but those LTC were picked up with BTC bought back in Nov/Dec in the $800-$900 range. I bought BTC high and have been trying to increase holdings ever since. This will just help me slowly out of the red lol

Although I have never bought any LTC (thought about it many times but it was never convenient to do so) I am actually glad to see it go up even as a Bitcoin holder. Why? It is quite simple. Litecoin is more volatile and there are less places to spend it. People will eventually decide that it is a great price to sell Litecoin and then where will those gains go? Much of it will go back to Bitcoin so it isn't necessarily a bad thing.
