As far as burning Satoshi's coins, the topic is highly controversial, as such it'll most definitely cause a fork. It's best to leave such things in incompetent hands of Faketoshi. Let him fork the chain once again unlocking Satoshis coins to himself. That should be his last battle after which he'll become a footnote in bitcoins history.
All bitcoins that are not moved for a certain period of time (20, 50, or 100 years) should be presumed lost and then recycled through the usual mining process. I'm not sure if that can be achieved through a soft fork. I certainly hope not. This is a terrible idea. This is bitcoin not Ethereum Then don't complain about what CSW is trying to exploit! Like Damocles in the Greek mythology, we are for ever forced to sit beneath a sword suspended by a single hair to emphasize the instability of a king's fortunes.

If something like that occurs, the whole idea of BTC will be lost You can hold BTC for years and years and never move any satoshi, and you'll have access to the coins you have Some move to recycle BTC can create a breach Satoshi itself said (like LoyceV pointed above) the lost coins can be a donation to BTC Knowing human nature by 2075 the move them or lose them movement will be strong 💪 and they will begin to move frozen coins. So any 2009 still in place will have a time period to shift them or lose them. So a 50 coin address simply need to pull .00000001 to a new address and problem is solved as it prove the coins are not abandoned. Satoshi mentions lost coins but not abandoned. The powers to be will say those are abandoned and will take them.. To those that think it is wrong or bad or terrible oh well I don’t worry as I figure I will be dead around 2047 if lucky maybe 2057.

So far that hot garbage is down 8% from when you bought. I hope BTC keeps going up the rest of the week and month. Not just because it's inevitable, but also to teach these shitcoin holders a hard lesson. Bought at 0.047$ then sold at 0.057$ ... then bought again at 0.052$ and sold 0.056$ ... now waiting for a dip, while I'm sitting idle in Sh!b that I bought at around the price it is now... maybe I'm a few percentages down, but I just let it sit for a week or two, I don't mind waiting. Penny Stock Hero. You could be the mascot if they ever made a videogame out of this nonsense.

How are BTC related matters feeling now, Raja_MBZ?
Still expecting a correction down to the 200-week moving average within the next year?
Yeah, of course. However, the punk that I once sold for 4-figure is now worth 7-figure. Sucks TBH. Damn man, don’t go from being a bitcoiner to a NFT-fool….. Don’t fall for the NFT illusions, my NFT is worth zero but I’m order to sell to my Friend it’s worth 4 figures and to our other friend it’s worth 7 figures, the not buying friend will have the NFT forever Haha, I agree that pretty much the whole NFT industry is just a money-grab right now; however, what pains me about missing on my punk profits ain't that. I always had an idea that being (somewhat) the very first NFTs, they're gonna grow up. However, at 4-figure, I thought it's too much and they're touching ceilings. But it seems like I was totally wrong and the 4-figure was just the new floor, not the ceiling. Celebrities, 3AC, etc., have pumped it way too much at this point. I probably am gonna get that punk back at 5-figure. Should be possible once BTC touches 200-week moving average lol

No drama, but I think we are all waiting for a REAL up of BTC as He should do.
IMHO, He still look like a bit weak, if we are looking for a huge/massive UP by the end of year. Like on the spring time, where we got only "virgin" new ATH by 1K$ more than the previous, and just fake break out every time.
Obviously I prefer to be wrong, but we are still far away from the 2013 or 2017 moves.
HODL.

Outdated poll. How about this?
Would you support a protocol change which would allow "lost coins" to re-enter the ecosystem via mining after a certain period of time? If so, what period of time?
Also, ants are dumping. Ho-hum.

Biden's nominee for Comptroller of the Currency https://mobile.twitter.com/bidennoms/status/1458180110872457216Biden nominee Saule Omarova saying the quiet part out loud. On the oil, coal and gas industries:
"We want them to go bankrupt if we want to tackle climate change." ... Comptroller of Currency wants major industries to go bankrupt, that should be good for the dollar .... "Socialism comes in through the ballot box, but only leaves through bloodshed ... " it's nothing new peeps

Evergrande defaulted.
Weak hands selling.
Are you sure? Some website's are saying they defaulted, but others are saying Evergrande made some slightly overdue payments that might buy it more time. I'm not sure what's happening. Someone on twitter said it's like a Schrödinger's cat default. https://fortune.com/2021/11/10/evergrande-pays-delayed-interest-bonds-default/China Evergrande Group looks set to avert another default in its biggest test since the property developer’s debt crisis began.
Customers of international clearing firm Clearstream received overdue interest payments on three U.S. dollar bonds issued by Evergrande, a spokesperson for Clearstream said. Two investors that hold two of the bonds confirmed that they received the payments, asking not to be identified because they weren’t authorized to speak publicly.
Investors had been waiting to see if the embattled developer would make the coupon payments totaling $148.1 million before the end of 30-day grace periods on Wednesday. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2021-11-10/evergrande-said-to-pay-delayed-interest-on-at-least-two-bondsChina Evergrande Group looks set to avert another default in its biggest test since the property developer’s debt crisis began.

Two investors that hold two of the bonds confirmed that they received the payments, asking not to be identified because they weren’t authorized to speak publicly. https://www.express.co.uk/finance/city/1519580/Global-financial-crash-china-evergrande-collapse-china-property-marketSuch is the dire state of the company, experts now predict the company will announce bankruptcy in a "matter of days". According to Deutsche Marktscreening Agentur (DMSA), the collapse of the company could now have dire consequences for the financial system. DMSA itself has invested in bonds paid to Evergrande and did not receive interest repayments from the company. Due to these missed repayments, DMSA is now preparing bankruptcy proceedings against Evergrande. "But so far we have not received any interest on our bonds.
"With banks in Hong Kong closing today, it's certain that these bonds have defaulted." https://www.fxstreet.com/news/evergrande-and-us-inflation-fears-sink-us-stocks-202111101905To top it off, risk-off is accelerating on the news that the cash-strapped China Evergrande Group has missed coupon payments by the end of a 30-day grace period, pushing the developer again to the edge of default.
Update: In more recent trade, the headlines are now stating that the company has met at least one of its deadlines for repayments, but there are reports that bankruptcy proceedings are still underway.
