They likely are not going to be forced to liquidate ever (as in never ever) - because the budget of El Salvador is way higher than the amount of BTC that they are accumulating on a regular basis.  They seem to be setting a pretty good role model in regards to what normie peeps should be doing too...

If you might not know Hamich124D, the essence of the matter is that if you figure out that bitcoin is a good buy, then you buy some right away, and thereafter you buy regularly and often, which is also known as dollar cost averaging, and you also can buy on dips.    I could not figure out any better way to play this whole matter than the way that El Salvador has been doing it so far.. Sure, there could be some tweaks here and there, but overall they seem to be playing this matter pretty well given the various facts as we know them.

I see from your account Hamich124D that you have only been around the forum for a few months, but hopefully you have figured out some of the bitcoin basics to at least get some buys set up or to get your systems in place so that you can buy some BTC in case it catches on.

El Salvador president started buying bitcoin when it was over 50k and now they recently bought 80 bitcoins on price of 19k. Sooner or later all countries have to embrace crypto revolution. Those who are embracing the future currency are facing huge pressure from centralized institute like IMF. El Salvador for instance is not getting loans from IMF due to there crypto friendly policies.

You can bet that the DGSE, MI6, BND and CIA (to name a few) have operatives in those bitcoin-friendly countries working on regime change as I type.  If pressure from the IMF is unsuccessful, they will escalate their actions until they achieve their desired result up to and including destruction of the entire country to serve as a warning to others.  As much as I would love to see one, I think it's still way too early for a "crypto" bitcoin revolution.  We're going to have to sneak up on them instead.

Small countries cant easily quit the global financial system created by big powers you mentioned. For big powers regime change in small countries is just like eating omelette in the breakfast. I love bitcoin since its something that has challenged the centralzed financial system which only favours the rich.

Bitcoin expansion was similar to Universe inflation: very rapid initially, much slower later.
Example: btc "was" about 0.003 when Laslo purchased 2 pizzas for 10000 btc in 2010.
From 2010 to 2012 ($15.4) was a 5133X price expansion
From 2012 to 2022 (now) was "only" a 1240X expansion in five time longer period (10 years).

projecting: ~300X price expansion in 50 years or $5.73mil by 2072. Quite doable.

I give this scenario a low chance (make it 20-30%), but it ALSO suggests a 47-48K point in a few mo, then 110-120K thereafter (this is a part of lengthening cycle model that suggest that the current bear is intermittent, like in the summer of 2013)
