I like the convergence in price between Bitstamp, BTC-E, Bitfinex, and Huobi.
Good job arbitragers!
I wonder if this means anything?
Yeah with the flat movement its a good opportunity to move cash to whichever exchange you think will get you the best value for your next position

Amazing, all this speculation, graphs, charts, video's, news articles, various people trying to sound official like they know something special (fonzie), bears and bulls and alike,,, and still no one seems to have a clue if BTC is going up or down lol this really is a great thread lol In the mean time I'll just hold tight and keep on mining whether its at 440 or 1,000

I've been spending millions of dollars over the last 3 years to perfect my Low Gravity Taco recipe. Once we get to the moon I will open a Bitcoin taco stand, kick back, and collect all your Bitcoins. Please help me name this business. My first thought is Tacoins Tago but even I know this stinks.

Through the last week I have been buying in the 450-520 range (first time buyer). I am all in and prepared to throw more of my monies at BTC in a few days if we don't run into an upswing by then. I have been lurking for a month, many thanks to those whom contribute their knowledge to the thread. I will be keeping my mouth shut around here until I learn the ropes a little more.
This tread represents the sentiment of the crowd, I found when I was buying and selling my actions were more honestly served by avoiding this tread (well its predecessor ) but then I'm not a trader, I'm now part of the p2p Bitcoin central bank movement, in an attempt to dampening the bubble cycle.

Market Cap Comparisons: Bitcoin $5 B Apple $475 B Chipotle Mexican Grill $17 B Dollar Tree, Inc. $11 B IBM $200 B Intel $130 B Costco $49 B CVS Caremark $89 B Berkshire Hathaway $307 B Pandora Media $5.6 B Most people probably haven't even heard of the names for 99% of the companies with the same market cap of BTC. It is still in small-cap stock territory and it's market price behaves as such. How much Capital does it take to move the price around? $5 million has a huge effect. How many individuals can move that much into and out of a market(s)? How many trading firms around the world can? How does $50 million sound? This isn't even the beginning yet. Fortunately, and I think there are a good number of people here who already know this, all of the information you will need will be right there in front of you, hidden in plain sight. You just have to focus and know how to see it. I've learned a few things about bitcoin from this thread and had a few laughs, so thank you for that. I wish you all well, although I will still try to take your money if given a chance. Sayonara, Nick

Hind sight is always 20/20 but, I wish now I had just took my first investment in GPU mining gear well over a year ago now, and purchased BTC when it was $30-$40.00 range and bought the same amount in bitcoin instead. Now even at todays prices I would be up almost $27,000 in pure profit even at todays price of 440.00 on that initial investment alone. But like with everything else, we live and we learn... well most of the time. lol

HEY! Noob! Don't get out of line here! The accepted behavior is to immediately start 4 to 5 bullish or bearish FUD threads (depending on whether you sold or bought at the time). Get cracking.

We get so concerned about China but many of these companies are only in the USA so we should not be too concerned. To think that BTC only has a market cap of $5 Billion and Chipotle is 3x that? Don't get me wrong, I like Chipotle, but that is crazy. The question I have is what is the estimated price when we reach $10 B, $15 B, $50 B and so on. I guess it depends on the amount being hoarded or available on the market at that time?
