Have noticed that Kraken never seem to be effected by any of these bullshit issues and come out on top everytime yet their volume is still so low

Kraken is top a noch exchange, i would say it's the better out there, they only thing they are missing is volume. They where not affected by the malleability issue also.

Indeed, everything to do with Kraken so far was perfect. Maybe volume is low, because volume is low? Meaning, they are unattractive for bigger investors as they could not act without giant slippage.

Its the normal catch 22 effect which isnt helped by the general low volume across exchanges. Close to 5k 24hr volume on Stamp the last couple of days.

I think that once people move if it truly is better then volume will pick up quickly.

So with Stamp logins disabled it seems we're going to be in for an even more boring day that we have had recently. Time to do something productive I guess

i think most people prefer to trade in usd and kraken is mainly euro. but overall its a good exchange.

yes but the volume for usd is like 300btc per month so you can trade only 10btc each day

True, from what I gathered Kraken sounds pretty professional. Only one problem I see, the one that prevents me from putting my money into it.

After reported vulnerabilities in OpenSSL, we applied necessary patches to our system. Incapsula, our DDOS mitigation provider is still working patching their system.

In order to provide required security, both system need to be patched. We are in constant contact with Incapsula and are working with them to complete necessary procedures. Until then Bitstamp has decided to temporally deactivate:

-account registration,
-account login
-and all virtual currency withdrawal functions

Bitstamp’s balance of BTC was validated by temporarily creating the largest single Bitcoin wallet and in the process the largest Bitcoin transaction in history.

The report identified that Bitstamp held 100% of validated BTC balance and USD funds. No material issues were raised as a consequence of the 3rd party’s investigations.

What Bitstamp did here was the only right solution, no doubt about it.

The ATH resistance line is nowhere near that, but closer to 3400ish CNY.
