watching this carefully. would be very telling if we had a spike up or down right now. This trend line was strong just 2 days ago.

I put my money on this prediction, i hope you´re right. The chances for a spike upwards seemmed  small to. No huge buying power  no fake walls , nothing.
Unemotional at best. Therefore i bet on a downwards spike, that´s where people have some trading emotion left. Panic buying seems to be outmoded.
Panic selling is where the heart still is.

full disclosure: this is not a prediction! this is just an observation. I doubt you are putting your money on what I say fonzie, but there are people on this forum who would eat me alive if they heard you quote that!

good luck I hope you win!

To be fair, there was quite a lot of buying power to bring us back to $430. Monday will be interesting, that's for sure. Would be personally pretty surprised if this was a Bull trap, but certainly wouldn't bet on a reversal until $500+

During the creation of it that came mostly out of China, there was definitely huge buying power, that´s true, but i was talking about this day during the last stages of the bull trap. It also could have been easily used by one big whale to squeeze 10k BTC out of its margin position to create an immense spike, like the one to 710$, but it seems as even whales nowadays don´t care about Bitcoin anymore Cheesy Cheesy

I'm turning bearish again.  the huobi rally, although does seem to have broken or remains just on the trend line seems to be going nowhere.  In a situation like last week,  still not enough confidence to really push higher.

So i'm out.  will buy back on the next dump.

There just doesn't seem to bitcoin hungry people out there at the moment.    Undecided

maybe I'll be proven wrong.

EDIT: Cheesy  famous last words

I admire anyone that has the balls to trade during such an unsettled period. I don't personally bother because I value my sleep. Going on Bitcoin's past history though, I'd be getting very itchy now if I wasn't already full BTC.

Speaking of gold, this could play out like the gold crash last year when the price went 1555->1320->1475->1190. Initial crash, big immediate bulltrap and final capitulation. Typical movement in other crashes too, not just gold.

guys I think you need to at least consider the possibility that we could be looking at a prolonged low period for btc. I think it is a combination of all the bad events that have happened recently, the fad winding down a bit, no major recent developments, delays in rollout of major advances like bitcoin ATMs getting caught up in red tape hell, etc... we may be looking at a bit of a price winter.

What would this pattern be called, if it broke out: Head, shoulders, and hips?

NICE! I bought back all the coins I sold on the way down and a few more. Still have fiat left in my account!  Damn, those coins are getting scarce. When the chart tells you to buy, you buy.

bitcoin is just to cool to fall but so flat for very long,,,, its still the newest way to send money or the value of, to anyone in the world over the most secure network in the world, quickly and cheap!... it just doesn't get any better than that and yet so simple.... btc has a good place in the future, anybody hodling will reap it rewards,.  Wink
EDIT: Unless of course your sending it to China lol
