Some 'hotheads' keep talking about $5-10 mil bitcoin in 10 years (2033).
I did some calculations:

1. Bitcoin will be $1.58 mil in 2033 if it goes up 50%/year (on average).
2. Bitcoin will be $27.14 mil in 2033 if it goes up 100%/year on average.

If counting from late 2011 (btc at $2), bitcoin went up roughly 2.25X a year (125%).
If counting from Sept 22, 2013 (btc at $133), bitcoin went up roughly 1.7X a year (70%)

Therefore, if bitcoin does a repeat of the last 10 years exactly, it would be $5.34 mil in late September 2033.

I like the numbers. It is hard to believe that it is possible, but it is.
All it takes is for btc to exactly mirror the last 10 years in appreciation.
"Nothing" special.

If not in our universe, then in some that is almost identical to ours, imho.

I would imagine in this day and age every hodeler has a secret fantasy that those numbers play out, including myself.
I'm not going to speculate or comment on whether this will happen or not.
I leave that to other folks on this here famous thread.
They will end up looking like Nostradamus geniuses, or just another lunatic internet get rich quick character.
Me? I just continue to DCA, hoping for the former, albeit, I'm not betting the farm. (and surely most OG's with a brain apply the same strategy.....perhaps, perhaps?)
Good lord! Did I just post on topic?   Very unusual...lol

I bought some TSLA in 2010...did not hold long at all.
I did not buy AMZN in 1997 even after thinking about it quite a bit.

Matter Labs wants to get more people involved in their project called zkSync, which is the technology for making blockchain more efficient and secure. They're starting a program called the ZK Fellowship, where they'll pay teams to help them with this project. It's like a virtual internship that lasts for 4-6 months.

If you're good at technical stuff and have ideas or skills related to zkSync and blockchain technology, you can apply for this program. It doesn't matter hoe you are they just need skilled people.

Suggested topics:
<snipped mumbo jumbo technical terms that no one knows wtf they mean>
and other

For apply and other details: .....

What? No shitcoin token air drop?

Are they accepting applications from scammers?

first of all, I got this project on the internet and they want skilled people that's why I posted it there because in this community most of them are experts and old persons of the community, and one more thing I am not a scammer I am not from one of them bitch. and sorry about that

In New Jersey I can get it back to my house in under an hour so it reduces gamey taste.

Gamey taste is from adrenaline.

The way to not get that taste is a quick kill, the longer an animal suffers and fights the more adrenaline it extrudes into the meat.

For years I got my moose meat from a friend who is an aboriginal Canadian (here we call them First Nations) so he didn't have to worry about any silly seasons or hunting licenses. He is also an expert sniper.

To get that nice clean kill you're talking about he rappelled with a limbing saw down a cliff to remove a small tree that was impeding the view from his blind to a place where moose came to drink around dusk. He'd set up his tripod and rifle and scope and wait for a moose to come to drink. He invariably harvested the moose with a single shot through the brain. The animal would drop on the spot with its head in the water to wash away the blood while he packed up his equipment and drove his quad runner (ATV) down to the moose.

He would immediately winch the carcass up to bleed it and gut it and then quarter it with his chainsaw. It would take him 4 trips with the quad to haul the moose quarters to his truck on the highway. It would still be warm when he got it into the meat locker at the reserve where it would hang for a week or so. Then it was professionally butchered, freezer wrapped, labeled and deep frozen.

It was never gamy tasting. In fact because moose meat is so lean, I usually barded it with beef fat and most people couldn't tell it wasn't beef. One time we had a semi-vegetarian guest for dinner and my GF warned me she might not even eat any meat. She asked me what was for dinner and I said "pot roast". I was surprised when she asked for not only a second helping but also a third. She said it was the best beef she'd ever had. When I said it wasn't beef she almost fainted until I told her it was natural hormone-free moose meat humanely harvested. She said it was the best meat of any kind she'd ever tasted.

It's all in the kill.

I remember I watched a documentary many years ago, which showed Chinese "dog farmers" who produced dog meat for human consumption, to be sold in the black market (I believe dog meat is illegal in China). The interesting part was that these farmers followed a specific practice: the dogs were practically tortured to death by being slaughtered in a slow, extremely painful way (they were first brutally beaten, and then slowly slaughtered/skinned alive), and all this was done right in front of the other caged dogs, so that the caged dogs could see the process. The farmers said that the extreme fear and stress induced in the dogs made their meat much tastier, and could achieve a higher price in the market. There was some footage of the process, shown in the documentary, that still haunts me to this day...

Sometimes I get worried that my bottom chart might be too ambitious, and so after I saw your post, I had to go look at my bottom chart, and I feel a lot better about it now.. especially, since I am ONLY expecting my bottom to be $492,562-ish by November 2033..

Therefore, your numbers make me feel a lot more "reasonable" in regards to my own forward bottom projection.

Many of us who have been in bitcoin for a while should not need anything even close to the Biodom numbers in order to be quite thrilled.. even another 5x to 10x from here should contribute to a lot of elation. .I would think.

Of course, if you are newer to bitcoin and you are thinking that you may not even be able to get to 1 or 2 bitcoins of accumulation in the next 10 years, then you might be a little more reliant upon such price performance levels that go beyond 5x, 10x or even 20x from here... which is seems that my bottom chart is largely in the 20x territory when it comes to a 10 year time horizon.

sir, I say I am not a scammer you are thinking that I am here to scam with others but that is totally wrong

I did accidentally send you an smerit for that post @Magic-Maker-40, and I don't really have any regrets, yet.. so I will just say that sometimes if you are posting about shitcoins or too much related to shitcoins and it does not seems to relate to bitcoin.. except maybe in some dumb-ass tangential way or perhaps an affinity scam kind of way. or perhaps trying to attract bitcoin talent.. then you are likely going to get some backlash in these here parts including that you are not going to be either loved or talked to in any kind of a nice way.. so it is better to admit your mistake and move on.. rather than arguing about it... .. but hey, whatever.. you do what you like...

Maybe if you tell us some things about your actual bitcoin history rather than telling us that you are not a scammer, that might be a little more productive... and allow guys here to get to know you.. if you would want us to get to know you for anything beyond someone who does not know how to post.. . or whatever, apparently you posted in this thread, and you are trying to defend your post because you would like to participate in this thread, so I am not sure what good it is going to do you if you just are inclined to argue with the regulars without really making any meaningful point.. except maybe trying to justify your post, which surely goes into shitcoin pumping landia, at worst and maybe failure/refusal to recognize the difference between bitcoin and shitcoins at best...

Again, whatever do what you like... not trying to stop you from posting, but it would probably be a bit better if you were to post something related to king daddy.. . .if you have ever heard of what king daddy is.. .. do you believe king daddy is "crypto"?  That might be a good place to start to let us know what you think about that.. if you have any ideas about what might happen to be "my little precious?"  Do you happen to happen to know?

I received the email today confirming the mtgox rumor going around that they will not be distributing any BTC until October of 2024. This is good news for people who were worried about a crash incoming as it kicks this downward pressure down the road a bit. I suspect by then we’ll have an ETF and prices will already be on the way up.

got the email too. not exactly they said - those whose payment info is good could get payouts as early as the end of this (2023) year. for those whose info could not be verified the repayment period will be stretched out to october 2024.

this is at least better than holding everyone who does have good info in the system up, which is what they have been doing.

but i will believe that when i have the coin in my own wallet.

Ya, when it comes to mtgox I always assume that deadline=expected payout date. I do hope you’re right and we get our funds sooner, but I wouldn’t rule out another delay either. For me personally, I would consider this a sign that the ETF approval will beat the mtgox distribution but I could of course be wrong. Just a guess on my part.

Dog meat is not banned in China but in its few cities only. I wonder is there any meat that is banned in China, they eat everything that breath.

Dog meat can give trichinellosis, cholera and rabies to one who enjoys eating it.
