One post-election house party away from total disaster....

A grand exaggeration, but the same could be said about Michael Saylor and bitcoin, now that "everyone" is a bear  Sad

People seem happy about the Saylor news for some reason. The guy just bought nearly a billion dollars worth of BTC this week and the price dropped by $1,500. On top of that, mtgox has finished distributing USD and will be moving on to distributing billions of dollars in BTC in the coming weeks/months. This while the German government is selling billions of dollars worth of BTC. I’m as bullish as anyone due to the cycle, but if we don’t dip lower in the short term I would be a little surprised. I just hope $56K holds. That being said, I still think we’re double the current price a year from now.

This price sucks.

If it drops below $60k I'll prolly scoop some more up.

It might, but on temporary basis, according to Bob Loukas, who advocates just hodling:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_CnqmvQ70uo

TL;DR Most likely-consolidation until Aug-Sep with 70Kish high and 60K (or about) low, then move up in one or two waves with an uncertain high: either 130K or mid 200ds.
A spike down to 52K is possible, but unlikely. Two possibilities for the eventual peak: either around May 2025 and/or October 2025 (it could be 130, then 90, then 200ish in Oct).
This is, basically, what I can recall.

Bernstein just updated their hopium forecast for 2025 Year End to 200K up from 150Km because.... ETF..
My body is ready.

Sad to hear about Donald Sutherland indeed.

Especially great in JFK as Mr. X, even though it was just a short performance.

Another memorable movie I liked him in (but seems completely forgotten these days)
was Space Cowboys.
Donald eating a banana whilst riding a roller coaster (Viper at Six Flags Magic Mountain).  Cheesy

England lucky to get away with a draw against Denmark.

I'd like to be able to switch off the commentary.
Alan Shearer was doing my head in during that game with his non stop sofa expert criticism.

I reckon this commentary carry on on TV (whether football / other sports or even Eurovision),
is mostly an archaic convention that was once perhaps vital during the 10 inch black and white TV with snowy reception days.

We can clearly see what is going on. Most people watch on massive screens now.
Just add a player at the ball name info in a bottom corner (like in the video games) and I would be happy.
At least give me option to switch commentary audio off. Ugh...

The similar type of folly to UK government selling all their gold in 1999 (or 2000?) at $250/oz or so.
It clearly marked the spot from where gold became bullish.

Currently bitcoin is in the $64,000 - $65,000 area, don't know if it will go anywhere near ATH in the near future or not. Besides that, this morning my wife and i argued because i wanted to accumulate more bitcoin than usual, she believes in bitcoin but doesn't dare to spend more money there.

every time is not too late to buy bitcoin, but i want to buy it at a more appropriate time, any insight into current price movements? or should i short my wife and go long for bitcoin?
