Upgrading the storage drive for the main BC/CL node.
Just got a 2TB since that should last a couple years at least... I mean the first TB took ~15?
That said... I would like to see sovereign scaling solutions to continue to be developed... But I am not developing them so I can only really hope. We could prob kick the can a little with a small block size increase... never mind. That's prob not gonna happen.
Anyway... little node updated today!
that's weird I just updated mine today. I got a Mac mini m4 with 2tb. I figure 2-4 years depends on blockchain spam. but if we get prices to go to 200k people will not want to spam as much.

Same here-2TB Are you running bitcoinid or bitcoin-qt? I was thinking of updating the node software, but decided to stay on prior soft because the only 'real' code I found was 'provided' by AI and it had some strange parameters that were not mentioned anywhere else. The code had some deep Linux settings-I have no idea what they do as my software knowledge is limited and I don't have a 'feel' for software-my field of expertise is a different one. I guess I could ask AI to explain the code, but i didn't (so far).

Blackrock is seeking to launch a bitcoin ETP in Europe, capitalizing on institutional demand after its U.S. bitcoin ETF amassed nearly $60 billion in assets. Blackrock, the world’s largest asset management firm, is reportedly preparing to introduce a spot bitcoin exchange-traded product (ETP) in Europe, expanding its digital asset offerings beyond North America. Bloomberg reported this week, citing individuals familiar with the matter, that the fund is likely to be headquartered in Switzerland. One source suggested that Blackrock may begin promoting the investment vehicle as early as this month. This development follows the significant success of its U.S.-listed bitcoin ETF, which has accumulated nearly $60 billion in assets. Larry Fink, Blackrock’s CEO, has emphasized the asset manager’s growing focus on digital assets, recently advocating for bitcoin’s role as a hedge against currency devaluation during the World Economic Forum in Davos. Speaking on a panel at the event, he projected that broader institutional adoption could push bitcoin’s price as high as $700,000. He recalled a discussion with a sovereign wealth fund considering an allocation of 2% to 5% in bitcoin. “There was a conversation, should we have a 2% allocation? Should we have a 5% allocation? If everybody adopted that conversation, it would be $500,000, $600,000, $700,000 for bitcoin,” he stated. News and image source
