Bought a little today.

If there is a trade war, BTC will likely go up given some time.

No trade war, it will likely go up given some time.

Alex Ovechkin is the NHL's new top goal scorer.
On April 6, Ovechkin scored goal #895 to pass Wayne Gretzky as the highest-scoring player in NHL history.

The amazing stat was that he equaled Wayne in almost exactly the same game numbers.
Minus one game out of more than 1500...both took 20 years to do it.

I wonder how much he will be able to extend the record and how many more years he might play...he still has a contract next year (only one year left), but I can envision Leonsis to try to renegotiate...maybe offering a bit less per year, but a 3 year extension, for example, instead of just one year...or something like this.

This year is probably the last one Ovi may bang out more than 40 goals (42 currently), but I digress.
Almost no one expected him to score 42 goals and counting this season when he did "only" 31 last year.

does not gretzy have alot of assists?

edit 1963

do not think that number gets beat.

but you never know.

Edmonton was fun to watch way back then.

I did not like his move to LA

Worse was his move to the Rangers.

still selling gpus on ebay. and the tariffs will jump prices on all new gpus

https://www.pcmag.com/news/newegg-confirms-tariffs-are-to-blame-for-rtx-5080-5090-gpu-price-hikes

this means my 60-75 gpus to sell on ebay will sell for more.

even better is copper price as I have 20,000 eth cables to sell.

it should be endless powder for close to a year.

its funny but coin can go uppity as I got enough. and a strong rally will likely help me sell parts.

The one thing that I never liked about Ovi's stats, are his total number of shots (not just "shots on goal") are rarely appropriately reported. I wish I could find the chart, it came out probably 7 years ago, but he was not better than any other "good" player on his goals/shot percentage. He was essentially sitting directly on the trend line. Sure, you scored 10x more goals than anyone else on the team (maybe an exaggeration, idk i made that stat up), but you also took 10x as many shots. So... congrats?

It is an impressive feat, don't get me wrong. The most consistent, moderately good shooter in history!

Yep. Definitely the danger of statistics. It suggests he was taking shots other players were not confident of getting and getting them. The scoreboard doesn't list percentages.

The longer we spend under $90K, The more disappointed I get.

P.S Does anybody else face lagging issue while posting here
It's now more frequent and almost a constant.

You are ONLY two years into bitcoin (at least registered on this form for two years next week, happy early birthday/anniversary).

I hardly see how you could be getting too excited since you could not have had already gotten to a status of overaccumulation, and I would imagine that you are still accumulating bitcoin.

Unless you were planning to accumulate bitcoin through trading (and/or selling bitcoin?)?

So how could there be any rush for the BTC price to go up?

Sure.  Maybe you are a whale who front loaded his investment.

I never got that sense from you earlier, but hey, we do not necessarily need to tell all of our secrets.

I personally find your situation to be more of a difficult situation than mine, since my first two years in bitcoin, the bitcoin price went straight down for 1 year and then stayed flat for another year, so those ended up being great times to be buying, even though I remained a bit depressed about my ongoing buying during those first two years... .. .so I understand in your case, there has been up, and then more up and then more up.. so these periods of flat should be a relief, since I have difficulties understanding too many scenarios in which normies could have had sufficiently front-loaded their bitcoin investment under such ongoing UPpity BTC price conditions that seemed to be what had been taking place over the last couple of years in bitcoinlandia..

The longer we spend under $90K, The more disappointed I get.

My speculation sees a peak of 400K, but it will take some time. It is good that market is consolidating after a heavy uproar.

Also, I too get lag when I post here (especially this thread).

Your even newer than Ambatman, so of course, you are going to get lag.

Can I imagine hardly any scenario of a guy who has ONLY been in bitcoin for 6 months (and the last 6 months at that), could have had accumulated enough bitcoin, yet?

I can't imagine such a scenario but hey.. maybe my imagination is lacking and you might have some scenarios in mind in which you might have had been able to accumulate enough bitcoin during that time.. perhaps? perhaps?

My speculation sees a peak of 400K, but it will take some time.
Are you saying it will cross 400k in the next few months? If so, why do you think so?

A degenerate gambler who is wishing.

My speculation sees a peak of 400K, but it will take some time.
Are you saying it will cross 400k in the next few months? If so, why do you think so?
it will take few years or more, not months. But I do see peak of 400k and a little more (according to T.A.)

Although developed nations have been pro-active in the interwebs, after the emergence of META and social media, more people are engaging in the electronic world, especially from the under-developed and developing nations. El-Salvador is a good example.

I started mining during '16 and went all in on 17, but got fucked by the regulations at that time. Now, that more govt.'s are seeing the plus side of cryptocurrency and it's utilities, it is but a no brainer to speculate that BTC will rise more with the emergence of new regulatory policies. People are only afraid of the sudden unexpected crash, if markets go stable with less violent moves and steady rise, we will see 400K ez within 3 years.

Getting into bitcoin and 2016 and 2017 could surely cause some scenarios in which a guy has gotten to a point of having enough BTC or even more than enough BTC.

I can see it.

The longer we spend under $90K, The more disappointed I get.

Lagging issues?  Every.single.time.

I used to think it was only when I posted images but I rarely, if ever, notice a difference now.  It's not just a lag, the forum doesn't properly refresh more often than not and I end up closing the window and opening a new one.  I mostly use the Brave browser.

edit: okay this one took ~5 seconds and refreshed perfectly thereby making me out to be a liar.  I think it's sentient.

You, homer, are just a debbie downer.

That's what I think.

Trying to ruin the mood of everyone else, for almost no reason at all.

It took me a whole 26 seconds to write this part of my post.   Tongue  So there.

HODLing mindset.

I am pretty sure .........

yeah bigggg laaaagggg  especially my 1st post of the day (which is of course the WO). it times out many times and will double post if i force things. firefox here.

You mean that Homer is not just making shit up? this time?

 Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

what cycle ? goodby
cycles have come and gone ,but
they are gone for now

If and when they come
it will not be anytime soon
stack it is sideways

if a cycles ever come
won't be musky trumper
 just maybe in time

honey badger wakes
to save the day making me
making me look foolish

I doubt that cycles are gone, until they are gone... so your saying that they are gone "for now" does not really reflect our current reality of being in a cycle.

My point is that we are in a cycle until we aren't ..

Rather than your point about: 1) "we were in a cycle"  but 2) now "we are not in a cycle" even though 3) in the future "we might be back in a cycle, maybe?"

#HODL In a nutshell.

Is it only my impression or does Bitcoin hold up quite well while stonks are tanking a few percent?
Didn't pay much attention lately, being busy.
I see the world has been very busy right now with Trump's tariffs, but wait a minute, isn't this positive?

I'm telling you something, we live in a corrupt monetary system The only thing that's real and not fake or corrupt is BTC  Who agrees with me?
Now, for me, above all, we need to Apply the DCA method to its fullest extent.

The only assets that are worth anything to me are BTC and gold.

Of all this, what makes us all the saddest?

BTC falling, because many of us believe and know that BTC is the solution to the economy's problems Can we expect a drop these days? We can't hide the sun with a finger. And yes, some investors are skeptical of the current economy And when all the storm is over, will we see a truly strong BTC, perhaps above $90,000?

Let's look at this little light on the path:
Quote
Interestingly, Satoshi’s supposed 50th birthday celebration coincides with a notable sell-off in Bitcoin’s price. Bitcoin has slumped approximately 6% since President Donald Trump unveiled reciprocal tariffs on Wednesday evening that led to a $5 trillion U.S. equities bloodbath. Despite this setback, Bitcoin has transcended its enigmatic origins to ascend to notoriety with a staggering market capitalization of $1.6 trillion as of publication time.

It’s worth mentioning that Nakamoto’s 50th birthday comes roughly a month after President Trump signed an executive order establishing a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve and a Digital Asset Stockpile, marking the first huge step toward integrating Bitcoin into the US financial system.

Original Source: https://zycrypto.com/happy-birthday-satoshi-nakamoto-bitcoins-enigmatic-creator-turns-50-as-btc-becomes-us-strategic-reserve-asset/
Bukele was the first president to pave the right path by Adopting BTC, now the USA is reaffirming it, it is logical that they attack BTC now, you just have to hold on , hold on, buy BTC.

I agree with everything you said, yet your gold comment is retarded.     Roll Eyes

Whales are buying like never before….

Eeeuhm are they in the room with us?
Certainly not in the room i am currently in  Wink Grin

Me too.

No fishies seen.

So many paper hands this week.

I wish I had more fiat so I could buy all of your dumped BTC.
yeah I have more fiat for later

and I will now stop rooting for BTC to drop any more for now as I got a decent amount today .

A monster has been created.

oh shit.
