next time it dips i'm buying more.

nice adam! did you catch any of that 450 on virtex yesterday?

I had a little chunk waiting there, with many more down below.

When I got the email from the first nibble, I was all like sitting back and waiting for the rest of my orders to be filled...

... I'm still waiting...

too greedy? maybe, but I am tired of chasing the price.

From now on, I will let the price come to me.

I had bought a few at 470 the other week, when i saw 450 I decided it was better to wait for lower lows.

anything below 500 CAD I consider a pretty good price, my buy orders become increasingly dense in the 450-400 zone. I have some hail-mary's out there in the sub-400's but I don't really expect those to be filled.

No doubt we're consolidating, each correction is getting tighter and tighter. The revised forecast is now May 19 for trend reversal confirmation. Then.. moon!

Edit: One more period of consolidation, but I'll eat my god damned hat if we break $380 from this point.

Chinese miners hold like crazy
Why do you think so?

I understand that mining for immediate sale was a very lucrative business for some time.  While that lasted, someone might engage in mining even if he did not believe in high future prices, in which case selling right away would be the best policy.

I do not know whether mining-for-sale is profitable at current prices, I see many conflicting statements about that.  If not, then presumably the miners who believe in high future prices are hoarding, those who secured long-term contracts with favorale prices are selling, and all the others have stopped mining.

i agree.

and for all we know, the CAD may dip again and then suddenly  <500CAD is an incredible bargain  Tongue

I think this is a distinctive feature of an extended downtrend - the sudden unexpected harsh enforcement action when the bulls start to get out of control.
