The new Morgan Stanley Bitcoin ETF (MSBT) news is actually heating up. Lot's of chatter about it. Analysts are calling it a "Vampire Attack" on BlackRock (IBIT). Morgan Stanley is pumped about it, in anticipation of MSBT’s April debut.

~~~~~~~
Morgan Stanley is about to put bitcoin in front of 16,000 financial advisors managing $6.2 trillion.
The firm just filed an amended S-1 with the SEC for a spot Bitcoin ETF called the Morgan Stanley Bitcoin Trust, ticker MSBT. The fee is 0.14%, making it the cheapest Bitcoin ETF ever proposed in the US. That undercuts Grayscale's Mini Trust by a basis point and BlackRock's IBIT by 11.
The pricing is deliberate. At 0.14%, no advisor in their network can argue the fee is too high to recommend. Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas put it bluntly: "They are the ultimate gatekeepers of rich boomer money."
This is also the first time a traditional bank has filed for a spot Bitcoin ETF. BlackRock and Fidelity are asset managers. Morgan Stanley is a bank. That's a different level of institutional commitment. They've tapped Coinbase and Bank of New York Mellon as custodians, applied for a national trust banking charter to custody digital assets directly, and filed separately for a staked Ether ETF and a Solana ETF.
None of this came out of nowhere. Last October, Morgan Stanley started recommending a 2 to 4 percent crypto allocation for clients and opened bitcoin fund access inside IRAs and 401(k)s. The ETF is just the next logical step.
Wall Street isn't debating bitcoin anymore. They're fighting over who gets to sell it.
Been thinking about it and if Morgan Stanley is doing it then I'm all in, gonna lose the self custody thing and go all in on MSBT.
I mean if you can't trust Morgan Stanley  then who can you trust?
 I remember the good ole days when Mitsubishi had to come to the rescue as a bank holding company while Morgan Stanley and JP Morgan waited for the US gov't to prepare its teat for a massive sucking and the US taxpayers became the guarantor.  This institutional green colour is really invoking some deep-memory recall.
Yep, this is actually HUGE for new investors of Bitcoin!
Besides HNW investors, a lot of Bitcoin will go into tax-deferred retirement accounts that won't be touched for decades except for small single-digit percentages of the account holder's total for RMDs once they reach their 70s. This will accumulation will reduce the available supply, being locked into 401(k) retirement accounts.
Access to Morgan Stanley's spot ETF that matches BTC directly is exactly what is needed to catapult the price!
Many investors are expected to give up managing their own wallets and private keys to invest in Morgan Stanley's spot Bitcoin ETF (MSBT). The fund is specifically designed for investors who want exposure to Bitcoin's price movements within a traditional brokerage account, bypassing the technical complexities and security risks of self-custody. MSBT will be available to buy or trade in dollar amounts or fractions of a coin. Most investors interested in investing in Bitcoin do not want to deal with self-custody and all that goes with it.
POW!
Trump is more than ready to teach some weak-ass EU countries a hard lesson!  I hope he does what he says! Hell with 'em! Do away with NATO - it's worthless...
Well, this is definitely part of the process that they've been planning since probably before this administration.
I still don't think that 99% of people have any idea the way the world's going to change over the next weeks, months, and years.
To be a rock and not to roll extend version.
There's a lady who's sure all that glitters is gold /
 Ooh, and she's buying a stairway to Heaven//
..And a new day will dawn for those who stand long /
And the forests will echo with laughter/
...Yes, there are two paths you can go by,
 but in the long run There's still time to change the road you're on/
There walks a lady we all know
Who shines white light and wants to show/
To be a rock and not to roll/
And she's buying a stairway to Heaven
What a strange thing to say.
As to this new forum upgrade color scheme thing, isn't it kind of weird that our little symbols of, I guess, ranking or whatever look like little dollar bills, is that what they're supposed to look like?
I mean, it's kind of nice to see a change and usually changes are just some joke on April 1st or something. Wait, is it April 1st?
Did I ruin it?
I think they're going to be very disappointed if and when they do pick me up.  I'm often gassy.  I either won't talk at all or I won't shut up.
I figure after a couple hours, they'll just take me back home.
I mean if you can't trust Morgan Stanley  then who can you trust?
We had thought that Gamestop had been pro-bitcoin by buying bitcoin, yet Gamestop custodied their bitcoin on Coinbase and explicitly gave Coinbase permission to rehypothecate 4,709 bitcoin.
