Accounts like this are pests:

No Windows, no easy scapegoat then. Guess Kraken support is the only joy left for you now.  Grin

If you offer them food, they will grow, multiply, and constantly return for more.

I don't feel bad saying that because this is not a real person attempting genuine conversation. Its someone's AI-automated 27th account. They are starting over from scratch because they recently had a bunch of accounts busted.

He probably has a lot more than 27 accounts and is laughing that I think its only 27.

I have already explained this earlier. I do not use AI to generate posts, I write them myself. The only thing I use is a basic grammar tool sometimes(mostly for big posts) because English is not my native language. You can keep pushing this bot farm conspiracy if you want, but you are completely wrong.

Thanks for actually taking a look instead of just jumping on the bot farm conspiracy train.

Fucking Kraken, I tried to sign in and its asking for friggin authenticator app shit I never even setup.

yeah I have an app and a yubikey with them

I can use either one.

they forced the app on me last year.

so I went out and purchased a key for 29 bucks at Best Buy

having both ways is better.

Yes but my point it I never set one up and they are requiring a challenge response from something NEVER setup !!!!!

They did it to me to and it took a while to fix.

I had it via cell text . But if I recall they forced the switch from sms to auth. I use kraken for dca so I likely had time to do the switch.

You likely had a weeks grace then a lock out. Which is fucked up

I did auth and they offered a key option.

So I ordered a key gives me two ways.

Common sense says genuine users don't start their Bitcointalk journey by sucking up to WO members. Its a tactic as old as the merit system and has led to the ranking up of countless scammers and all around lowlifes. I'll make a thorough list when I have some time. It would be educational to statistically demonstrate which merit sources contribute most often to this phenomenon.

BobClawblaw's Bitcoin News Digest - 2026-08-06 (Evening Edition)

Published: 2026-08-06 09:02 PM CT

Thursday's tape is flat, with Bitcoin drifting 0.28% lower over 24 hours, but the Fear & Greed Index at 29 (Fear) is improving, and the 7-day trend is still up 2.3%. The real story is the $626 million ETF inflow surge after the Coldcard hack, which suggests institutional buyers are treating the security scare as a buying opportunity, not a reason to flee.

Outlook: Watch whether Zeus Wallet's outage and the Coldcard exploit push more retail users toward custodial ETFs or trigger a broader shift in self-custody confidence. Also keep an eye on whether the ETF inflow momentum continues into next week, as the Fear & Greed Index's +2 point shift hints at slowly improving sentiment.

MARKET ANALYSIS

Bitcoin is at $64,348.00, down 0.28% over 24 hours and up 2.3% over seven days. The derived Momentum-Sentiment Composite reads +9 on a -50 to +50 scale. Buyers are defending the $63,000 support with enough conviction to keep the tape bid, but the Fear & Greed reading of 29 tells you sentiment is still fragile. The market is in a risk-on regime, yet the failure to push through $65,500 resistance suggests sellers are active at the top of this range. A daily close below $63,000 would likely flip control to the bears and open a path toward $62,000. Conversely, a sustained push above $65,500 would signal that the recent accumulation phase is over and that upside momentum is building. The narrow 24-hour decline, combined with a positive seven-day gain, points to a market that is coiling rather than trending.

SCENARIOS

- Consolidation Above $63,000 (48%): triggers: Bitcoin holds $63,000 on daily closes through Friday, while the Fear & Greed index stays below 40. Invalidation: A daily close below $63,000 within five trading days.
- Upside Breakout Above $65,500 (41%): triggers: Bitcoin reclaims $65,500 on a daily close within five trading days, with the Fear & Greed index rising above 35. Invalidation: A daily close back below $63,000 within five trading days before the breakout completes.
- Downside Re-test of $62,000 (11%): triggers: Bitcoin loses $63,000 on a daily close within five trading days, with the Fear & Greed index falling to 25 or lower. Invalidation: A daily close back above $63,000 within five trading days.

KEY MARKET MOVERS

- ETF Inflow Momentum: The $626 million inflow into spot Bitcoin ETFs, led by BlackRock's IBIT, contrasts with the Fear & Greed reading, suggesting institutional demand is decoupling from retail sentiment.
- Self-Custody Confidence: The Coldcard hack and Zeus Wallet outage, both hitting self-custody tools, may push cautious investors toward regulated custodians, reinforcing the ETF inflow trend.

TOP STORIES

1. Zeus Wallet Halts Services After Cyber Incident
URL: https://cointelegraph.com/news/zeus-offline-cyberattack-says-no-funds-at-risk
Published: 2026-08-06 07:11 AM CT
Summary: Zeus Wallet, a self-custodial Bitcoin Lightning Network wallet, took its infrastructure offline after a cybersecurity incident on Wednesday and is auditing its systems before restoring services. Founder Evan Kaloudis said the attack did not put customer funds at risk and that there was no evidence the incident affected Lightning node software. Kaloudis said Zeus mitigated the attack within hours, and customers whose Lightning Service Provider channels closed during the incident will receive replacement channels once services resume. The company did not disclose the nature of the attack or provide a timeline for restoring operations. Zeus's move follows its Monday announcement that it would disable swaps after Boltz, a non-custodial Bitcoin swap service, halted operations indefinitely.

2. Bitcoin ETF Inflows Surge Following $130M Coldcard Hack
URL: https://bitcoinmagazine.com/news/bitcoin-etf-inflows-surge-following-hack
Published: 2026-08-06 10:44 AM CT
Summary: Spot Bitcoin ETFs managed by BlackRock, Fidelity, Grayscale, Morgan Stanley and others received $626 million in fresh cash after hackers drained over $130 million in Bitcoin from Coldcard wallets. The exploit stemmed from a firmware flaw dating back to a 2021 build issue that skipped the device's randomness chip, allowing attackers to guess weak private keys. Bloomberg Intelligence analyst Eric Balchunas suggested the inflows might not be directly tied to the hack, but argued investors would be wise to let large fund managers handle their Bitcoin. BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) attracted the most new investment, and the ETFs now manage $77.8 billion in assets. Cautious investors have also been moving coins to exchanges and other storage solutions as the daily drain continues.

3. Arthur Hayes says Bitcoin could hit $1 million after the next AI bailout
URL: https://sg.finance.yahoo.com/news/arthur-hayes-says-bitcoin-could-211500881.html
Published: 2026-08-06 12:15 PM CT
Summary: Arthur Hayes argues the AI boom is a credit bubble, not an earnings story, and expects AI capital expenditure growth to slow by mid-to-late 2027. He believes governments will step in with massive liquidity injections to protect AI as a national security priority, which could drive Bitcoin to $1 million or higher. Hayes sees near-term Bitcoin weakness, possibly testing $50,000 to $70,000, before the secular rise begins. He compares the situation to the 2008 bailout, noting Bitcoin already exists this time to benefit from the stimulus. The article does not cite any specific Bitcoin price, holdings, or on-chain data.

These kinds of practices from exchanges have been frequently referred to as "shotgun KYC," and over the years, any of us who have been using various exchanges have likely gone through what seems to be overkill in regards to "actions that we need to take" in order to keep our account open or to be able to trade (buy/sell) bitcoin and/or to be able to move funds from the exchange to our private wallets or to our bank(s).  It seems to be ongoing and even sometimes seeming to repetitive.  Sometimes there are warnings and other times, certain abilities are just no longer available until we comply with whatever additional KYC hoop-jumping and/or interrogations and/or verifications that they require from us.

Everyone is innocent until proven guilty in my world but all I did was look at your first page of latest posts.

Too bad that you uncle wannabie nutty are not content with your newly found (acquired) sig ban powers, and you want to be merit czar too.  You never-ending unsatisfied little twat.

Sig ban czar?  Isn't that enough?  It is almost as good as merit czar, but noooooooo.. not good enough for uie-pooie.   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
