http://willyreport.wordpress.com/

Quote
So basically, each time, (1) an account was created, (2) the account spent some very exact amount of USD to market-buy coins ($2,500,000 was most common), (3) a new account was created very shortly after. Repeat. In total, a staggering ~$112 million was spent to buy close to 270,000 BTC – the bulk of which was bought in November. So if you were wondering how Bitcoin suddenly appreciated in value by a factor of 10 within the span of one month, well, this is why. Not Chinese investors, not the Silkroad bust – these events may have contributed, but they certainly were not the main reason. But more on that later.

lol
Amazing...  Shocked

Hey Jorge,

How would you compare the value of the willyreport to your report on figuring out when the Chinese sleep? Willyreport was created in the free market for free and in my opinion has huge value, and your Chinese sleeping report was created in the public sector paid by stolen funds from the public and has zero value.

The new week starts in 30 mins time for me.  I am calling $1000 by June.  eBay will announce paypal and bitcoin integration.

Mark my words.

I so hope you are right.

I was thinking $800 early June, $1000 mid June and then a new ATH by July.  We will see but I am hopeful.

I cannot see it happening.

If we finish the year anywhere near 1000, it will be an epic fight back and crush all the bears along the way.

IMO, we are going to trade the envelope for 2 months with occasional "moon shot" and "double digits here we come" noise.

maybe that's the case, but anything could happen.. especially if some big companies like ebay/paypal/newegg jump into the game. new ETFs and big time players jumping into the game could really catapult everything.

Good grief.

You realize it actually takes money to do this, right? The price doesn't just magically go up like a helium balloon.

So where is the tens of millions of dollars of fiat that is going to take it there? Are you making this type of investment?

Well fact is that we can go up really quick if the market makes a move. It wouldn't take much, because we already were there once  Wink

But I need to say, I expect 50-70$ correction if we hit 600$ tomorow. We're moving way to fast and this is not healthy.

Healthy?  The fast rise in April and November wasn't very "healthy" either.  Wink

Please see edit above. I opted out of the bet. Again, I apologize to Mmitech.

lets do it this way, a word bet, If the price wont touch touch $100 I will quit posting on this forum Smiley

You wanna do the bet with a "e-handshake?"  If so, I will gladly say YES.

Of course, its up to us to hold each other accountable. But I will gladly pay you 20 BTC the day LTC reaches $100 in 2014.

And I can just hope you are as true to your word.

OK, I Mourad Ilyes Mlik will honor my word if LTC price wont reach $100 this year, I will pay 20 BTC to windjc later provided address, let other members be witnesses. in fact this will go to my signature.

BTW windjc a thought came into my mind, do you have the 20 BTC ? I would like you to put 20 BTC in one of your addresses that I can check and not spend it, so in case you would have to honor our bet I know that you have them, and I would do the same (it is just in eliminating escrow in this case)... it came to my mind that you might get lucky without taking any risks.  Smiley

I see someone borrowed a bunch of bitcoin on Bitfinex to hold the price in check until their funds clear.
