I suspect it's because he sees Bitcoin as a tool exclusively of interest to people with whose politics he disagrees.  It's one of the many things he's wrong about but, for my money, that's possibly the most egregious one.

Stamp just went below 570 :p seconds after this post :p its not a that big of deal though..! I'm more than happy with this stable market too I guess it will stay here for some time like it was at 430-450$ mark early this month for almost a month or so and then went up to 590$ mark in a boom..!
