That´s actually very bullish! Reduced selling pressure from merchants! Choo Choo now that bitcoin is crashing, the flocks will run and spend their coins on more ASICs and stuff(TM). and "closed for businesses" is actually good bullish. keep on selling tardi and you just keep on buying

https://www.bitstamp.net/article/bitstamp-status-update/Dear Bitstamp clients, Bitcoin`s staggering growth continues! Unfortunately, to our mutual displeasure, this growth and other issues have caused problems for some of our customers. These issues include recent problems with our banking software which caused a large backlog of transfers which in turn increased the manual checking that was required by support agents. Additional networking issues also magnified the work required. Altogether our need for additional support agents and hardware has increased dramatically. Bitstamp works hard to provide the excellent service and in response to these problems, we have upgraded our hardware infrastructure and hired four new support agents. This brings our total employee count to seventeen. Further, in anticipation of Bitcoin`s continued growth, Bitstamp is hiring more staff members and further improving our hardware infrastructure. Thank you for your understanding and loyalty. Best regards, The Bitstamp team -We are a victim of our own success TM Ominous echoes of times passed. I don't want to FUD but I wouldn't be leaving stuff lying around on there that I wasn't actively using (not that anyone should be doing that anyway but this is a wake up call I would think).

Might cause a XRP bullrun if both fiat and btc are blocked.
*edit*
Assuming Stamp doesn't restrict withdrawals to their ripple gateway.

I'm casting my cares aside I'm leaving my past behind I'm setting my heart and mind on You Bitcoin
I'm reaching my hand to Yours Believing there's so much more Knowing that all You have in store for me is good Is good
Today is the day You have made I will rejoice and be glad in it Today is the day You have made I will rejoice and be glad in it
And I wont worry about tomorrow Im trusting in what You say Today is the day
Oh, oh, oh
Cocaine is a helluva drug... did somebody mention cocaine? Sometimes cocaine causes people to wax exuberant (even excessively so) about subjects they are fond of I think we may have an example here On the Dave Chappelle Show, there was a series of stories told by Charley Murphy (Eddie's brother) about his adventures with Rick James, which usually involved Rick doing some crazy shit. He invariably explained the aforesaid 'crazy shit' by saying "Cocaine is a helluva drug...". I thought it was funny Clearly, I am alone in this sentiment

Why is BTCChina's volume up so much over the past couple of days? Are the November 2013 pumpers back in town?
