The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

This is getting really depressing. A perfect case just happened, for a bull trap to form.. and there is barely any panic buying...

Perhaps I should revise my $350 prediction for <$300... at this rate, that might even be optimistic.

These big buy backs seem to be a thing of the past. There simply is no buying pressure anymore.
This isn't people selling high and buying low. These are people getting out.

Things have changed and many here refuse to see that. One day it will be the last time Bitcoin goes up. It won't magically go up forever. And that time might be now.

All I see is whales buying back their own coins that they dumped, and shorts covering.

What I DON'T see is the general public buying back in.  Want to know why?  Dumpers have destroyed all confidence in the market.  For 9 1/2 straight months now.  It's not winning over any hearts and minds.

But the callous people on this thread will just tell you "Shut the fk up, it's bitcoin!  It's a free market!  It will recover!"  Blah blah blah.

I think you are focusing too much on the battle and not the war.

Battle = Price
War = Infrastructure, usability and hearts and minds.

let it play out choose your side.. and don't think 15 - 30 minutes of either direction at this point is going to let us know the market has made its mind up.

this is capitulation and you can definitely see lots of people grabbing coins cause they haven't lost faith.

Also when stamp usd/btc @ $430 at the moment.. and I paid 456 cad with 430usd = 470.16cad...I think it was a fair price at that moment.

If people's confidence is destroyed in something this resilient (we are in the triple digits people), they need to.....

YouGov on the day exit poll
=

ie Prediction = YES 46%, NO 54%

Looks like David may not be getting that early morning call from the Queen.

"David!! absolute fucking twat... you just lost Scotland... how does a PM lose a country? even Tony managed to not lose a country, unless you count Iraq....
I am so fucking mad I just kicked a corgi down the stairs........ twice... Say goodbye to your family.... I am brining back torture in the tower!"

or something along those lines...

"Scotland The Brave"

We'll find out tomorrow morning if this is true or not. Have they bricked it in the polling stations and voted "no"?

Ah well, if that is the case so be it... democracy in action, as in an actual real choice, that would lead to actual something of meaning happening in life/society, not just an illusion, so if they choose no, then so be it... if they choose yes... then war  Cheesy I mean so be it too.

It is good to see some actual democracy in action, that has actual real world ramifications.

I said before and I will say it again... my brain tells me the vote will be NO, but my heart and my gut is not so sure though... either way I think it is going to be close.

Will Scotland cut their noose loose?  Cheesy  not long to find out now!

Its a wedge.  Every TA trader knows this.  So what?  Either break up or down violently.  Gamblers take position here.  Everyone else GTFO and wait for trend signal.  Whales use small volume to move market one direction or the other.  Unless you have inside info GTFO!

Price going on down, not sure its enough for people to start turning their miners off just yet but maybe a few.  Sure to be more panic sellers though.

molecular is bang on.

I'd rather this than boredom any day. Merchants are all using bitpay anyway, the volatility should be framed as being a result of people's faith in fiat currency, not in bitcoin. Suddenly, some people seem to forget how awesome bitcoin is.

So their "forgetting" how awesome bitcoin is and selling off is somehow a good thing?  What if they forget permanently?  Losing hearts and minds?

Oh wait, I forgot... this is so fun to watch the price plummet! Exciting times!  /s
