You will get burnt looking at orderbooks and thinking like that. Ordersbooks can be so easy to manipulate and the only somehow "real" orderbook at stamp is looking terrible.

Strange though, during the multiple month long bull-run last year, I remember seeing an exact same pattern, though inverted (exponential ask-wall pedestal, slowly trailing linear bid-pedestal).

How peculiar.

Whoever missed the boat the last time around is getting another shot at getting coins under $400...I would suggest at least grabbing a few if you can afford them...  I highly doubt that prices will remain this low for any lengthy period of time...

How do I know what? That there is $5M in the books and in the begining of the year there was $20M?

Of course, market generally moves to the greater side of the orderbook. Why move to the side without orders - for paying high price for low number of coins?

...Bitcoin is the investment with the largest positive EV on the planet.

OK, I'll take the bait.  Tell me how.

Make a calculation of EV based on assumptions of different price targets and their chances of materializing. Make them conservative to to safe. The EV calculated will be extremely higher than current price.

Also kind of interesting that Bitstamp was leading in terms of initiative while Bitfinex was leading in terms of volume in this latest round of dumps.

Gotcha.
Calculated for $.05, and $200. Sort'a stuck calculating $2,000.  How do I convert "snowball's chance in hell" into numbers?
