Ask yourself one question, why is finex bid side so populated with more than 12k coins down to $300. They want these coins cheaply with margin calls.

seriously can any one make sense of the movement of bitcoin prices?
maybe I missed something in the news but fundamentally it is complete bullshit what is happening?!
its the market figuring itself out, while being fondled by wall street... its really messed up... my doctorate supervisor in economics always says markets are non-existent, it have to be people who interact, anyway I know what you are saying but even that is not an answer. there have to be people who are willing to sell at that prices.

free market?? sure! where big players can move the price at will.
manipulators keep dumping and scaring investors. There always will be fools to panic sell.

well, I can tell you that someone is placing those asks on stamp almost like a pro bot, and bitfinex guys have a history of dumping those margin calls through some advanced non automatic procedures, like placing them as asks when and where they find it suitable. maybe they are "evil manuplators"?

ASK orders bot detected (anty wall). Looks like there's only one major seller on btcchina (they should do those orders bots more random...)

How about ask why the bid sum is so low overall? I do agree 100% that the BFX activity is really peculiar. It's possible that an entity is selling on bit stamp to trigger sells into much deeper bids on bfx. Possible... Not extremely unlikely, even, but I won't put my money on that bet. Good luck to those who do, because I still never sold a coin despite my pessimism, that has been validated so far.

and the dumps come right on time, come on..atleast get down to the old bottom bears.
not that I didn't expect dumps on circle going live, its been sell any news since China bans.
More good news to crash the price further! Dump it into the ground, yay! I hope Amazon announces adoption soon, so everyone can get those $50 coins they've been wanting. Hell I hope the FED announces switching to bitcoin from USD, so it'll go to 0. If you would recognize that this trend is driven by technicals and all the positive news have no more value than making momentum-money with news-buyers, this downtrend is easy peasy to accept. I think a lot of people get scared since they can't understand. That market makers trying to enforce a capitulation, maybe, but meaningless. It's a game, and if you lose your composure, you'll lose the game. Take it easier, it's not that they are selling your childrens or parents How can I arrange for them to sell both my parents and children? (my children are adults so don't give me any flack)

Dashboard ------------ Exchange 1 | Exchange 2 | Exchange 3 | Exchange 4 And for each of them buttons: Dump (size 1, 2 or 3), set random asks type 1, set random asks type 2, set random bids 1, set random bids 2, set wall x on y... And then just few clicks and play the casino and the market goes the way you want.

I am more worried about those practices happening with funds of their customers. I dont trust them and I dont use them for that reason.

I wonder if circle will deny low buy ins like Coinbase.
It would be epic for my price alert to flash less than $350 and I'm able to buy in 10 seconds. The ability to buy during flash crashes on Coinbase was near impossible.

I take it back, they all follow each other...

I think Adam was right about circle, looks like there's regular buys started on bitfinex.
I doubt that there have been very many buys on Circle. I signed up for a circle account, and to verify my bank account will take 2-3 days. Of course, I could buy immediately with a credit card, but I am NOT going to buy with a credit card b/c I am NOT going to take the chance of paying outrageous cash advance fees (which are likely through my CC). Accordingly, IMHBO it will take a few days before the mass adoption of Circle will result in actual purchasing of coins.
