So this is one hell of a consolidation. Most beautiful chart pattern I have seen in Bitcoin.

It's called a "descending wedge" and I've seen them many times. They almost always break lower.

B/bitcoin has excelled to this point (market cap) with nothing but resistance from the banks, media, liberal economists, and trolls. It also continues to absolutely dominate all of it's competition in altcoins by a long shot. If you search the keyword "bitcoin" for recent news.. you get lots of hits, search "ripple" and it's crickets chirping time.  Bitcoin is king of crypto and I expect it will remain so. That doesn't mean there isn't some room for others for a little while.

"Back suggested that developers should keep in mind that competing systems will need to replicate bitcoin's network effect, something he said would be a challenge to any project seeking to replicate aspects of what bitcoin's technology can provide.

"Once something takes hold and gets going, it makes more sense to focus on and build around and on top of that, and we feel that sidechains are the best way to do that," he said.   "

As far as the wall observing goes, I'm bullish as fuck with a long term focus.

What you mean? I know that descending wedge is a bullish sign while rising wedge is bearish

XCP / Counterparty if you really need to take on more risk.

No miners, no bagholders waiting to unload. 2.6 million were created by burning BTC. It's technically not even an altcoin.

Burning BTC?! i call it crypto-satanism.

Didn't peg you as the religious type. It's pretty clever actually, and it makes BTC worth a little more.

well tbh if people were indeed crazy enough to burn 2,6m BTCs (whatever it means), it will eventually make mine worth more. Wink

I guess burning 2124 BTC does show commitment.  Personally I would have rather had the cash Smiley

However it's effectively a decentralized ripple from what i read and will hopefully cripple ripple.   I would rather trust counter-party who committed there own funds, to a scam coin where they effectively premined and kept 45%.

Ripple is a scam.

He said 2.6m XCP were created. X amount of BTC were 'burned'. Not sure how you can 'burn' BTC though..

you send btc to an address without a possible priv key

My bad. "descending triangle". I just know I've seen them end badly a lot.

level with Sep 14th peak,  unable to break through, volume smaller than September & rounded top possible.

But don't trade off my advice, only looked for a min or 2.

As 10,000 pages approaches, I'm thinking of setting up a Wall Observer, Wall Observer thread to mark the occasion.

Is that a parody, paradoxical or just plain stupid; possibly all three.

BTC @ $404 @ 10,000 pages
