I remember dec 25th to dec 26th last year, we went +70usd and pumped into 1000s shortly after. Will the history repeat itself this year ?

Nope, learn about history; Mark Karpeles pumped every 10x pump of bitcoin Smiley He is gone now and you have all year seen the effect of it. Enjoy your cheap coins and dreams of becoming a millionaire by sitting on your ass. I will tell you a bit about the future price of bitcoin, if it stays over $100 it will be a miracle (in 2015). Mark Karpeles is gone and also most of the deepweb sites which was the only true incentive to purchase bitcoin.. so do the math (hint: no demand at all, except traders (btw, the whales you guys talk about is pretty much the exchange operators)).

Enjoy shorting on your unregulated exchange while you can. You will soon be forced to be a licensed broker to do so.

What do you think will be the peak price in 2015? Most bulltards think btc is bigger than the internet, you agree? Banks are evil, agree? Fiat is the devil, yep? Come on, admit to believing all of these things. Let me guess, you have all answers (about the troubles of economics in general) and somehow they involve bitcoin being the solution, true? Enjoy your cheap coins.

None of those. I would love fiat if banks and governments would be fair and honest with it. But they can't. This time of year they often show an old movie called "It's a Wonderful Life" which depicts good banking vs bad. Most banking has become corrupt and useless to society. The reason is that fiat money technology is obsolete. This is the network age and they still use mainframe protocols. The outdated system is highly vulnerable to abuse. Then of course there's the ridiculous voodoo economic policies  that has corrupted bureaucrats. Bitcoin can reform all these things through a simple upgrade in technology. I just don't understand all the fear mongering over Bitcoin technology. It's quite silly to stand in the way of progress.

There's lots of talk about cheap Bitcoins

So what USD Value do you think a Bitcoin would be cheap ?

I know this is going to piss a lot of people off but I will regard Bitcoin to be 'cheap' when it hits about $20 a coin, of course it will still be cheap at $10 but that's irrelevant.

It will continue to work regardless of what the price is.

I know the relentless greed around here will not agree with the above, the world still needs dreamers though.

You are the one dreaming. 500 million dollars has been invested in bitcoin companies this year and you value the entire market cap at 140 million dollars. Ha!

inca, you are actually making it very clear that you're delusional by this post.

Really? So you think bitcoin is currently 3000% overvalued?

Its at least that...its only worth less than a one dollar to me.

Buffett is a dinosaur, he's too old to appreciate a new way of money.

Buffett is extremely wealthy because he is extremely good at what he does. And one of the main reasons is because he knows what he understands and stays away from what he doesn't understand. Just look at how he has spoken about Google. He sees that they have shot up over the last decade and a bit but he still won't invest in it because he doesn't see how they will make money in five years time. That kind of thinking will make you a lot of money. But he is an investor. And those who make money in Bitcoin are speculators. Bitcoin is a gamble. Some of us might think we have figured it out, but in the end it's a gamble.

I accept that BTC is a gamble

I'm sorry. I didn't mean to insinuate that you didn't understand this. I am just saying Buffett knows what he's doing. He is just playing a different game. I can agree with him being too conservative. But that is what has made him rich.

Esse exited at 600-800 from my memory when I asked him to show his position via screenshot. We can only expect this of him now Cheesy who wouldn't want a lower bottom to rebuy them perhaps what he initially payed for the coins he sold on the last bull run.

http://www.businessinsider.com/warren-buffett-money-tips-for-2015-2014-12

[ Warren Buffett: ]  “Stay away from it. It’s a mirage, basically. … It’s a method of transmitting money. It’s a very effective way of transmitting money and you can do it anonymously and all that. A check is a way of transmitting money, too. Are checks worth a whole lot of money just because they can transmit money? Are money orders? You can transmit money by money orders. People do it. I hope Bitcoin becomes a better way of doing it, but you can replicate it a bunch of different ways and it will be. The idea that it has some huge intrinsic value is just a joke in my view.”

Read more: http://www.gobankingrates.com/personal-finance/6-things-warren-buffett-says-should-money-2015/#ixzz3MwXTOAlW

I don't know how Warren can identify one of the many reason bitcoin has value in the banking industry particularly and think it has no value loooool

Perhaps because he figured out one key fact (in purple) right away, that bitcoiners have closed their minds to?

Merry Christmas professor! Indeed it is true that the protocol (open source) the tokens (open source) and the code (yea, you get the idea) can of course be replicated...

It's the idea that is beautiful, it's the idea that will propagate, it's the idea of transparency and honest money that can not be subjugated to corruption and hijacked by servants of large organizations funded by forced, involuntary contributions of the slaves - sorry,  - citizens.

My Christmas wish is that all peoples would be made aware of the corruption of the current system and be made incentivized to work towards a better solution. (Including you, "professor")

Yeah, Christianity was a beautiful idea.  So was Communism.  The implementation OTOH.  Bitcoin has been nothing but wall-to-wall scam & petty crime, from Pirate to TF to Ukyo to Danny to DPR to SonOfDpr to everyone's favorite face of Bitcoin,
