I think bitcoin dies because of a disruption to the internet system that causes people not to access bitcoin, otherwise the power die around the world can also cause all the machines to die so people can not turn on their computers.

Bitcoin will die if not internet and no humans in this world, apart from that if world war 3 arose and if the world is destroyed then bitcoin will not survive. This is actually a strange question because Bitcoin is just a baby now and there's lot of things need to happen for it to grow.
Really without the bitcoin internet going to die but i am sure that the internet will continue to exist, the thing we should know about bitcoin is using a decentralized system so that all prices are formed according to market needs, if no users then automatically bitcoin will die.

I cannot think of a situation wherein bitcoin may die, unless internet shuts down. Internet is the reason why bitcoin is working and its transactions, internet is the heart of bitcoin whereas if without it bitcoin will no longer exist and will die instantly. Else where, there is no accurate reason for bitcoin to die even if people will lose interest or sell their bitcoins, still bitcoin will exist.

The only thing I can see that would probably makes bitcoin die is when internet goes shutdown and never back again, because bitcoin needs internet connection to its transaction. But I think it would not happen in our generation unless there is a world war that would affect not only bitcoin but all things on the net.  Smiley

How and why would the end of bitcoin (and any other cryptocurrency) occur? Value decrease? Legality issues? Different technology/ideas to supersede it?

I believe that bitcoin will die if people will start to invest on other cryptocurrency, minex and ethereum coin does really have a potential right now because there is so much interest on this coin and the platform of minex is also good so they might have the chance to become the next to replace bitcoins.

Maybe a bitcoin will die in the absence of a bitcoin enthusiast and there's no internet network in the world, in that case maybe bitcoin will die, and nobody can stop it all, even a Satoshi Nakamoto is possible. will not stop that.

Maybe not just internet, in general Bitcoin could disappear if know one is asking for demand of Bitcoin, but if we think for an specific instances Bitcoin could die if the owner is gone, specially if he/she didn't share all the details on how to access their account, that's are some probable cause that can disappear or die bitcoin

I think bitcoin will die if all countries will not allow us to use bitcoin anymore. But all of this is only a speculation, and no probability because the reality is bitcoin continue to moving forward. The investors are still here and we are here to support and hoping that more people will adopt this technology to reach this to mainstream. This is the reason why Bitcoin is still rising through use of technology.

The end of the bitcoin can not yet be felt, thanks to the fact that the crypto currency has come out of the hi-tech world and entered the world of finance. Speculators do not care about the ideals and slogans of the cipher.

Why did you decide that bitcoin should die? Why do such thoughts come? I do not think that bitcoin will ever die or lose its value. There is a possibility that bitcoin will lose a little in price, but I do not think it's that much that would die.

I think the worst case it will die is. All investors have decided to sell it. The government banned the use of bitcoin. People do not trust bitcoin. I think those things can kill bitcoin.

The most dangerous situation for bitcoin will come when people start to lose interest in it. And without a large community bitcoin will not live long.

Hopefully, maybe when bitcoin is no longer needed and new coins appear so bitcoin will slowly lag and move on to another coin.

I think the Internet has been shut down, so bitcoin will die. The circulation and trading of bitcoins requires the Internet. Without the Internet, people will not be able to trade bitcoin, and its value will soon become zero.

Bitcoin can't bite the dust that effortlessly as a result of the low request or even the no request in the market in light of the fact that simply feel that the bitcoin is extremely shoddy some time ago and it nearly got 0 request however it is still beyond words it goes up high. Bitcoin has a considerable measure of clients and those clients won't take into account bitcoin to be dead on the grounds that as much as they would they be able to will bolster bitcoin until the point when it ends up stable and the most grounded among its rivals.

The lack of internet connection will not be the reason why Bitcoins die, even without people accessing their bitcoins, it's value is going to stay the same for all that period especially since people would not be able to sell and buy during that period.

In current situation, there is a very chance that bitcoin will die. For me, if will not die as long as many people are supporting it. Many people had invested on it, many people advertsing it, bitcoin will not die. The only I think reason it will die when the government made it illegal then the bitcoin will drop.

Bitcoin is growing and it is increasingly important in our lives. The demand for human about bitcoin is increasing. I think bitcoin will not die. Bitcoin only ends when there is no internet but that can not happen.

The only situation I can think of is if quantum computers are able to break the bitcoin encryption algorithm. You can only expect chaos than. Other than that there are forks so even if miners become evil and start harming bitcoin than it can be forked and taken back from them.
