We all know that all things that exist in this world have an end. I think Bitcoin will die if a big Bitcoin holder flood the market or all Bitcoin holder and trader stop or lose interest in Bitcoin. That's what I think, but we really don't know what will happen in our near future.

When an altcoin reach a higher market cap than bitcoin, it would be a crash, definitely.

I think bitcoin will not die, bitcoin will die if people do not believe in bitcoin and people have not bought bitcoin and also do not make bitcoin as an investment.

How and why would the end of bitcoin (and any other cryptocurrency) occur? Value decrease? Legality issues? Different technology/ideas to supersede it?
There may a number of reasons!!! There may come a new technology and all the supporters of bitcoin may move to that technology (Not talking about ether but the technology). The UN may pass a resolution to ban all cryptocurrencies with support from majority of countries!!! Eventually people may lose faith in the coin and miners may find some other coin more attractive. These things coupled with some disasters like bitcoin being hacked or controlled by some blockchain hack tech may lead to its demise! Smiley But all these things happening are pretty less. Till then enjoy your ride in the bitcoin ride Tongue

I think bitcoin is very hard to die. If it dies with many influencing factors, lowering the value to a lower level, bitcoin will produce the worst effect. caused many cybercriminals. Many people no longer use bitcoin and bitcoin is completely banned by governments. I think only the reasons above will make bitcoin die

I think the outrageous transaction costs and the slow transfer times is causing serious harm to Bitcoin. I don't think it could possibly die but its flaws are starting to become obvious. There might be room for another coin to take over if this gets worse.

I think it will only die if internet is gone but its quite impossible and also if the last user of bitcoin quits then it will become worthless and tend to unrecognizing with no value and justa trash on a network. If bitcoin dies im sure there would be a replacement for that of course the demand for bitcoin will not lose but just transferring will occur.

Bitcoin will die if all bitcoin users leave it, but it will not happen for now. Bitcoin is the most popular coin, many investors also believe in bitcoin, it will make bitcoin stronger and farther away from death.

In my opinion it would die if it is not adopted into mainstream use.  If BTC didn’t catch on quick enough and had a dramatic decline near zero, most people will view it as a scam.  Your common folk will have lost faith in something that doesn’t make sense to them in the first place.

There is only one reason for bitcoin to die, but on that reason thre are so many factors which may possibly be a cause. That one reason is, if there would be no more demand, and some of those factors which may cause it are: If there would be new cryptocurrrency or technology that may surpass bitcoin, or if many country will going to banned the use of bitcoin and if the value will go much lower compared to other cryptocurrency.

lolz... Bitcoin wont die. maybe its price goes down, but this is just a correction of the market. Bitcoin can be used for payment, for store asset. Why do you think that it can be killed?

Well, maybe when the situation began to lose confidence in the bitcoin users. people tend to leave bitcoin, because bitcoin is no longer provide benefits to users. but, I think it will not happen, because bitcoin will always provide many benefits to the users if we use it properly.

I really agree with you, Bitcoin will still exist if the users are using well and correctly, and in my opinion there is a drastic price just part of the drama.

I think if the internet connection will lost the bitcoin value will lost too. The main source of bitcoin is the internet connection therefore if there is no interenat connection we cannot able to connect with bitcoin. it may happens that bitcoin value will lost and the bitcoin will be not existed in this world.

Well, we know that bitcoin dying is not caused by forum posts announcing that it is dead, because we get those on a daily basis. Cheesy
No one really knows when will it die especially now that it is becoming more popular and more investors are keep on coming. Bitcoin will die if all countries around the world, all government are going to ban it forever. And it will never happen.

Bitcoin will NEVER die
On the contrary to your statement, some countries banned the use of bitcoin. Banning the bitcoin all of the countries is one of the factor that will make the bitcoin die.

Bubble, where the bitcoin loses it's value. Bubble happens in a firm where the price goes high like a rocket punch then it goes up and up until it pops like an ideal bubble. where it has no value and it just there but can't use for transaction or trading at all, that is when the bitcoin dies.

If a lot of bitcoin holder start selling their bitcoins out of panic, then MAYBE this will be the nail to the coffin for bitcoins. This kind of calamity usually reflects a loss of trust in bitcoins. Selling their bitcoins is only a reflection of how they no longer show support to the kind of technology we have now.
