[ANN] Bancor | Protocol for Smart-tokens, solving the liquidity problem

this is a very cool project but i do not get 1 thing. let's say i create 1 token with bancor and gno in reserve. after a while i decide to also put in reserve some BTC and some waves. can i do that or i have to create another token with all the reserves i want?

You cannot really put BTC or Waves in reserve. As it stands today, Bancor is created on Ethereum, so you can only put ETH or an ERC20 token. Bitcoin and Waves are their own blockchains and currently there's no neat way to create cross-blockchain trustless transactions, so everything needs to be Ethereum-based.

I think when RSk become available other assets on Bitcoin and counterparty would be added to the reserve, currently I fear for Ethereum network because it has so many security issues that need to be rectified but the foundation keeps patching this up.

I think when RSk become available other assets on Bitcoin and counterparty would be added to the reserve, currently I fear for Ethereum network because it has so many security issues that need to be rectified but the foundation keeps patching this up.

Perhaps soon will be the release of Metropolis and most of the problems will be solved, and I hope the network bandwidth will be increased.

Ethereum has several ideas in the pipeline to increase network throughput. Transitioning to proof of stake would be the first order of magnitude benefit. Then, the Raiden lightning network will help with basic transactions between nodes, which don't all need to be recorded on the main blockchain. Hopefully it can scale with the list of ambitious projects being built on top of it.
