After i drink i take a lot of food and have a nice sleep....I do not have any kind of headache or anything after drinking but will it affect me in the future.... My dad almost drinks everyday right from his childhood may b at the age of 18 but my dad is healthy and strong even after drinking so many years... Thanks to god for that....... Any way, When it comes to your health, is it better to drink or not to drink?

I know quite a few problem drinkers, people who could never go a day without booze. It's genuinely disgusting to witness and they're deeply pathetic people.
Most people have a normal relationship with alcohol but they're also very good at deceiving themselves as to what normal is. All of these middle aged women who put away a bottle of wine a night 'because it's only wine' might find they've inserted a time bomb into their bodies when it all adds up.
And I don't drink no more. My main problem with drinking when I did was that I didn't do enough of it.

With alcohol abuse, you are not physically dependent, but you still have a serious problem. The drinking may cause problems at home, work, or school. It may cause you to put yourself in dangerous situations, or lead to legal or social problems.

For humans it is useful not more than 50 grams of vodka a day. All this harm. As you drink it. If 7 to 50 grams is obtained 350 grams. This does not mean that you can a week not to drink and a day off to drink 350 grams.

I do agree that everything should be in moderation but that's probably not the case with drugs and alcohol , I mean once you start , It's probably just a matter of time until you get addicted to it and you screw your life. It's better to stay away from these things . I never smoked or drink anything on my life and I'm just fine , If I have problems or I celebrate with something , I don't see how alcohol will make me feel better.

Unfortunately the present world is full of different problems. Related to this is a large amount of stress the person is experiencing. Don't fight them face a nervous breakdown. Helps to fight the alcohol. So choose.

More people cannot drink normally than they realize. They self-medicate with it. If you look at most of the homeless, they have got there from many bad habits, one of which is that they can't think normally when they drink.
I think drinking causes a lot of bad attitudes in people that don't rank in the "alcoholic spectrum" but just become different people when they drink.

Even without being "alcoholic", alcohol consumption has an influence on the development of many diseases: cancers, cardiovascular and digestive diseases, diseases of the nervous system and psychic disorders. Alcohol can also be the cause of more common difficulties (fatigue, too high blood pressure, sleep disorders, problems of memory or concentration, etc.). Excessive alcohol consumption is often associated with psychological disorders (anxiety and depression in particular). Abuse of alcohol can trigger depression. Conversely, a depressed person may seek alcohol in a way to combat this and thus develop excessive consumption.
However, even if alcohol consumption appears to provide well-being at the moment, it does not solve the person's difficulties, and on the contrary increases depression and anxiety. Moreover, even if alcohol helps to fall asleep, it impairs the quality of sleep and can cause insomnia.

In the first place in the world for the cause of death are cardiovascular diseases. Alcohol helps to deal with these problems. Of course this cripples other organs. Of two evils always choose the lesser. Do you agree?

1. Everyone has different alcohol tolerance. Your father might be extra resistant to the negative effects of alcohol. 2. There is no way to tell if someone is completely healthy after drinking every day for many years. You need to do a full health checkup, especially find out what is status of your liver. 3. Everything in moderation is just fine. The problem is finding the right dose for you. 4. When drinking, make sure alcohol is not influencing your daily routine and you are not sick from from it, or feel addicted, if not, then I guess it is completely fine.

Alcohol dependence appears unnoticed. The harm builds up. You will not notice immediately but after it happens it will be too late. Always and everywhere should be the measure. If you feel that alcohol dependence does not threaten you.

All I could say is, I drink each week with friends, but I never get to the point that I have to drink each night, it's not good for our health. We should be drinking in moderation only. Actually it feels good if you only drink few, just enough to make you feel a little dizzy. Abusing alcohol might also cause a liver damage. Another bad effect of it is you might start to forget your self and do something stupid.

I don't have the literature handy to back this up, but I am nearly certain that it trains the brain with cumulative deleterious effects at any dosage, although the higher the dose presumably the greater the impact. And some people are more susceptible than others. Statistically, browner races seem to be (genetically?) more prone to addiction (loss of self control) than whiter ones.
I think some of my poor decisions in life (emotional instability) could have been attributed to very heavy drinking on the weekends in high school and college. I totally quit in my 30s though, and am now ~52. In my case, I rationalized my heavy use as being effective at burning me out and not liking it later in life. But others may transition from heavy recreational use to addiction.
Perhaps exercise, sex, singing, dancing, arts, hobbies, and humor are alternative healthier means of releasing stress.

Change the alcohol to weed. It's much much better form of relax after hard work and it isn't bad for your health. Small amounts of alcohol are helpful actually but that' up to 2 glasses of wine to dinner.

Well, I guess, nothing in alcohol that changes me physically, except the time when I feel sleepy due to high amount that I intake... But it's true, it makes me feel better the next day, I wake up earlier compared to other days that I don't drink... I feel a bit happier because my friends visited my house and we have fun jamming with my musical instruments... Usually during days that there is no one to jam with me at night, I drink alone, but only few shots... I have a lot of left overs of brandy and I am drinking it few shots a night... I could say that I am not alcoholic, as I don't drink if I don't want and I am opt to do something important... Some says in the research that alcohol if taken in moderation, it could kill dead brain cells, and if over used could damage your brain and liver... I don't know if it's true, but maybe that's the reason why your father is feeling fine when he drinks alcohol liquor...

That emotional rollercoaster you are describing is training your brain to be emotionally unstable. The dead brain cells are not the most significant threat. It is the threat to emotional stability which is the significant risk. Ditto weed and all drugs (toxins with neurological effects on the dopamine, serotonin, etc receptors). P.S. besides as a male you need to be working on your masculinity not on satiating and becoming a slave to your emotions (hey look in your pants, you aren't female). This is the battle for maturity that you face, and unfortunately Millennials are being bombarded with feminism. What role models would you have which would express to you what I am.

i think the impact is not for short term but its always in long term, drinking alcohol is not good for our health because soon or later, our health will be drop and if we continue to drinking alcohol too much in a day, then our health will be get sick. drinking alcohol is like consume drugs. we are fine for one or two years, but imagine if we still consume for more than five years or more, then i think we can get a ticket to meet the angel of death.
