Im guessing never and if gox opens withdrawls to wallets I am guessing they will do it only if bitcoin crashes to 50 or 100 usd. The good news is they will in the interim let people like plus one man trade at .50 on the dollar though for anyone that has large amounts of bitcoins stuck
Is it possible for them to allow BTC withdraws once the price crashes to 50 or 100USD? how would that work?
In exactly the same way as when the price was 0.1 USD, 1 USD, 10 USD, 100 USD or 1000 USD.  The functionality of the bitcoin network does not depend on the price people choose to sell their bitcoins for.

Sjå https://bitmynt.no for veksling av bitcoin mot norske kroner.  Trygt, billig, raskt og enkelt sidan 2010.
I buy with EUR and other currencies at a fair market price when you want to sell.  See http://bitmynt.no/eurprice.pl
Warning: "Bitcoin" XT, Classic, Unlimited and the likes are scams. Don't use them, and don't listen to their shills.

On gox irc channel i heard it, is that 6 weeks coplain geniue or not i dont know. Think that majority got trough around 5 weeks.

re SEPA withdrawals: my withdrawal from Jan 2nd is still confirmed, I guess there must have been a lot of withdrawals on Dec 31/Jan 01 -- or the withdrawals are slowing down... don't know. will definitely post once the status changes still hoping for this week.

A lot of SEPA withdrawals on Dec 31 and Jan 1 makes sense.  Some wants to withdraw money just before the end of the year to hide the money "in flight" when the year changes (for tax reasons, e.g. capital tax) and other people want to keep their money there until 2014 for other tax reasons (e.g. avoiding capital gains tax in some cases).  In Europe the fiscal year typically follows the calendar year, with a few exceptions.

True, however that only counts when funds hit your bank, not when you requested it from mtgox  Smiley

Bitstamp issued a statement saying BTC withdrawals and deposits we suspended. I had an incoming transaction which has been processed 2 hours ago. Did they fix their issues?

So ridiculous the whole episode. They stuck my withdrawls 2 weeks . The say they are making an announcement on Monday give some bogus statement with no comment regarding when freeing up withdrawls. They are so done who would ever trust these clowns again. I guess that is all they had to do blame bitcoin protocol and they are off the hook in their eyes.

Its about ( not) loosing face. Issue is realted to malleabillity but not quite the same.

User opet started a thread broken tx on 26. Jan what then had 200 broken tx and rising rapidly.
Mtgox first statemant about it was 31. Jan saying they have issues but only small number. Broken tx were at that time around 1800.
Mtgox 2nd statemant was 4. Feb saying basicly the same as earlier but just that they credited back broken transaction.
And then withdraw suspension stateman was at 7. Feb saying that withdraw need to be in static state so they could find out ehat is going on.
And most recent on 10. Feb decalring it malleabillity issue and bitcoin bug and waiting for proposed solution approval of core dev.

Yap, they are pretty damn fast!!

the network just is fine at every exchange for all incoming coins.......as it always was when pirate blubbered with his

cronies in IRC Grin      the regulators are starting to want to see their books....BTC - wallets included...thats where the

excuses will come from next.....

I have suggested Superjury(tm) on other forums on Ye Internetes.  It involves voting in real time, as jurists in a COTUS approved Grand Jury setting, to reinstate real (non debauchable) money as per the COTUS.  Well, I mean, every nation has a debt agreement called a "Constitution" so as an American, I am saying our Constitution specifies specie (true bullion coins), so crypto can also be seen as COTUS approved, if it involves a vote simultaneously as a pruchase.  In essence, the future of crypto, is to vote and buy at the same time.

Search the web for Superjury(tm) and you'll find my ideas.  But yeah yo are right, FAX transmission is accepting by some court clerks, whereas emails and scans and PDFS of birth certificates require negotiations with inside people.  It's not easy to exist without a legit birth certificate but some of the top power movers exist on that level.

I don't need to ask.  Their address is on the bottom on this page, and I know they accept registered letters (use FedEx instead, it is usually faster and cheaper): https://support.mtgox.com/entries/21651045-AML-Account-Statuses

Decent APIs, only well functioning multi-currency exchange, very good arbitrage vs other exchanges and a deep order book.  To sum it up: Profit.

Guess I will flamed for this and accused for all sort of bullshit, but I still recieve euro from mtgox, last one 04. februar. The one before that was 15 January so less then the 20 days even.

Quote from: pedro82
Well Savior said that he received Eur at 15 Jan and 4 Feb which i doubt because it's second transfer should be confirmed after 15 Jan , and as we know several people had confirmed sepa from earlier, me included, and nothing yet.

Savior : if o see this post tell us when did ask your 4 Feb transfer .
tks

Quote from: Savior
It was requested December 02 - 2013

I really want to believe you but at Dec. 2013 they where taking 4-6 weeks to process withdraws.

My guess is just that they also halted or decreased sharply SEPA transfers, although they state the opposite!

This was a 20-day-rule transfer.  Read the Deposits and Withdrawals FAQ.  I requested one during the first or second week of December, and that one arrived in December.  The queue was shorter then.

Why do you guess?  Every time there are a few days between reported SEPA transfers in this thread, people start making crazy guesses which have always turned out to be wrong.  MtGox has a daily quota of 100k EUR.  That is 2 (yes, TWO) SEPA transfers of the maximum size (50k EUR) per day.  Fortunately most transfers are smaller.  I do not find it very unlikely that people with a more than average amount of money on MtGox use the days around New Year for tax planning.  The amount will not be in their MtGox balance and not in their bank account when the year changes.  Very easy to forget when they do their taxes.  Even if one or both read this thread, I doubt they are going to report the transfers here.  Even tax auditors use the internet nowadays.
