Give him time he has a lot to do and right now we had nothing to fear from burnin alone. Only Avalon then CryptX.
Lets hope he will take some time and do an update in which he hopefully states that there will be a changed course of action.

I have 6 bitburners paid for but still have another 6 I planned on getting assembled if this Avalon debacle got any better. But now I see they are out of stock? I have another 120 chips to be sent to burnin but now cannot choose to pay for the boards. I used my discount to get a couple bitburner furys but all this silence is making me think it may not have been the best option.

You could have bought an order from somebody who had their chips refunded, but already paid for assembly. Burnin is ok with that.

Burnin,

Have you received Batch 2 chips from Zefir?

Yesterday - late afternoon, production will resume on Monday.

Has anyone from that batch received their burners yet?

We are still waiting. It's difficult to see the posts by burnin about how busy he is working on bitfury and then to see from crypt that he is not handling batch2. So where does that leave the batch2 folks? We got an update last week from burnin that the chips were received. But we aren't getting regular updates or an ETA for completion and delivery.

IMHO we all paid for for batch2 boards, batch2 chips have been sent and received as part of the agreement, so shouldn't we be given the priority as customers?

That is my growing feeling too, unfortunately. I had chips arrive at his place briefly before that Zefir batch and he told me they will be assembled together. Now with him busy with so many other things it seems to me people who stuck to and paid for the original plan are getting shafted. I still hope not of course.

Additionally he _is_ posting about BF and Coincraft things... How hard would it be to post something short like "batch x started assembly"?

Waiting on Zefir batch 5 chips here, I know burnin isn't to blame; but this whole shit fest with Yifu/Bitsyncom has had me so jaded/disillusioned that at this point all I can do is wait. Wait for my bitburners to come, and wait until my 15BTC chip refund arrives.

I just hope this doesn't end up being like Santa Claus or the Toothfairy for all of us community members.

For those of you receiving your hardware very late, use cryptoswitcher.  It takes a little technical grunt work to get it all set up. But at this point, its the easiest way to ROI on an avalon ASIC.  Here's a screenshot of one BitBurnerXX in action.

I only looked into this briefly, but IIRC the middlecoin pool seems to be more convenient and pays in BTC.

Isn't middlecoin only for scrypt coins?

You are correct.  Sorry, my bad.

I decided to get a refund, clicked this option in my account at asic-hardware.com, now my order has this status: "Marked for refund" and nothing more. As it was mentioned refunds will be processed by burnin in mid October. I hope.

I put the boards back in stock in case anyone wants still needs some.

Batch 2 is completely done and is currently being shipped.
Big orders take a bit longer because i have to put them through customs.
The maximum batch 2 delivery has been delayed by the Bitfury development is 3 days.

Transfers of whole orders are possible.

How do we go about transferring an order? (I am a buyer)
I emailed you a screen shot of the receipt w/ order# but before transferring money to the seller, I'd like to know if it is a valid order and approved by you.

Can the selling just log into Cryptx and put in a new name and address, transfer the password to the buyer or ? (Want to make sure it gets shipped to the buyer! ;-)

Thanks, good to see you back!

I did it by requesting a transfer of the orders by email to store@asic-chips.com. To prove that the orders are yours you could use the signing function of bitcoin.

You cannot change name/address at http://www.asic-hardware.com.

Sorry Alexius89. We tried. Was just no simple way to get escrow with paypal or Überweisung and a refund offer came up and so I took it.
I wanted a miner and not a refund though, but after trying and thinking, I didn't see a low risk way without using escrow.

This is back open should anyone want to jump in. Nice rig at a fair price with everything you need minus 40 chips.
Best,
IAS

I am looking to purchase an early order for 6-12 Bitburners at a discounted rate. I had my order of 6 transferred to a discount on the bitfury boards, but, we will see what happens with that over the next few days. PM me with offers. Thanks.
