How many modules this one can do? I just bought it.

http://www.coolermaster.com/product/Detail/powersupply/silent-pro-m2/silent-pro-m2-720w.html

Input Voltage    90-264Vac (Auto Range)
Input Current    11 – 5.5A
Input Frequency Range    47 - 63Hz
PFC    Active PFC (>0.9)
Power Good Signal    100-500ms
Hold Up Time    >17ms
Efficiency    85% Typically
MTBF    100,000 Hours
Protection    OVP/UVP/OCP/OPP/OTP/SCP
Output Capacity    720W
Operation Temperature    0~40°C (Nominal Input Voltage)
Regulatory    TUV / CE / UL / FCC / BSMI / GOST / C-tick / KC / CCC
Fan    135mm Hydraulic Dynamic Bearings
Certifications    80 Plus Bronze
Connector    M/B 24 Pin Connector x 1
CPU 4+4 Pin x 1
PCI-E 6+2 Pin x 4
SATA x 9
4 Pin Peripheral x 5
4 Pin Floppy x 1

To be honest I have trouble understanding why ~2W/chip = ~40W/board x 15 = ~600W isn't good enough for mentioned PSU (720W).
Please note that in this case I am not asking to save money by choosing PSU with less efficiency certification standard (80 Plus Bronze in this case), but ask is it going to work.

One of the best in terms of power, cost and reliability is the Antec HCG-900 which is very often $100 or less.
Antec HCG-900 review

bronze and all under 87%...that's really not good
http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=Story3&reid=211

have a look here ( all gold or platinum and over 90%, > 500 watt), but search for reviews if you have chose one:
http://geizhals.de/?cat=gehps&xf=365_90~1119_80+PLUS+Platinum~1119_80+PLUS+Gold~360_500#xf_top

Sorry, but I can't stand misinformation. 80 PLUS Gold or Platinum does not guarantee anything except meeting efficiency. Even that is not as big a difference as you might think. Unless there is a significant difference in warranty between a company's 80 PLUS offerings; Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum are not going to magically be better just based on efficiency. Look at reviews, warranty, Watts/fiat and construction details for the best decision.

Example of a "not-so-good" 80PLUS GOLD PSU

They are better because they take less power to provide a given power, but only at defined load levels.

EDIT: checked your link, in the long run it makes still a difference, and we are all using the PSU over longer periods of time

Yes they CAN be better, but just because it's Bronze does not make it inferior to Gold. That's my point. All things equal, get the best efficiency, obviously.

because of that i have filtered the link with PSUs >90% and i said, that everyone has to look for reviews.... ;-)

Ok thank you guys for the input on the PSU matters, i'll seek out a few candidates and list them here.

Hi Burnin

Hows things coming along with the sample chips?

Chinese people seem to be much faster lol, well I hope you are working hard man... GJ

Finally a breakthrough today.
I got it running, tested my protocol implementation.

Status:
uplink chip interface - implementation done and verified
downlink chip interface - implementation done and verified
clock pll configuration - checked
nonce range division - checked
hash results - checked
glue chip interface and usb/can interface code together - work in progress

Hopefully that last step will be done when the prototype boards arrive.

I'm curious what the fault was, was it unstable clock signal as suspected before or was it something more trivial, like wiring misstakes, software issues etc. ?

Would be fun to see pictures of the (now working) dead bug :-)

Congrats! Really like to hear more about the process, but that's for another day!

I am selling in stock OneStringMiner boards, based on the Bitfury chips. Have a look here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=495536.0

It means, that at the current design, his design works.

What still needs to be tested is the ability to talk to each other and therefore put up to 16 boards on ONE USB controller. The chip hashes nicely.

Is possible have the Bill of material ?
I need more information about the ribbon cable.
Another question is why don't use a DB9 connector that is more standard and easy to find?
